I agree with this, I smoke every day,If i were to quit and 2 years from now grow some plants. I would have to try them, Its a great feeling when your stoned from the weed that you grew. you feel... accomplished :D

There isn't anything wrong with growing for money IMHO. Sure wouldn't be much bud around if cash croppers weren't in business. It's a learned skill and hard work, and we like to be compensated for that. If you're into the medical movement than it's a bit taboo among our peers, but hey.....to each their own.

No judging here OP. Do it up, and ask here for help along the way for your growing, but business doens't belong here though. I'd keep that on the DL.

If paranoia is a problem there are strains which make you less paranoid, grow those. If it still makes you paranoid, then smoke some once in a blue moon and add a couple beers with it :)

Wait so If I wanted to sell some of my crop that I spent months maintaining and spent hundreds on nutes for, that I would be frowned upon for wanting to break even on a hobby?

That sounds like people are just being bitter, to be honest.

I can understand someone that has a huge farm that is only in it to cash crop but someone that loves growing plants as a hobby that can't freely spend hundreds even thousands and just give it away and be fine gets looked down on for wanting to cover their cost for a hobby?

Doesn't sound right to me...or I am just misunderstanding something

I think you are ... Bowlful is just reminding us not to use RIU for transactions. Off RIU is "out of sight; out of mind". We just want to keep the nest clean is all. cn
