Dr Earth organic soils... Share your thoughts/experience

Dr Earth soil is very cheap where I live; about $12 per big-bag (1.5 cubic feet)

I know some people love it.

I was previously under the impression that it is supposed to be an "easy-mode" soil to work with cannabis.

I grow indoor-tent and greenhouse.. I'd love to make Dr. Earth soils work for me (they work for my veggies) but my hemp fights CONSTANT nutrient and pH battles with it, it's almost never green and happy no matter if I flush it out, add compost/organic nutrients, or do nothing but water for a while.

I've tested with multiple strains, and multiple sources of water but usually only RO water. I've tried Pot of Gold, Motherland, and Homegrown. And like I said, my vegetables grow fine in it (mostly root crops), but my hemp hates every grow I try in them..

I don't have these problems with Happy Frog.

So what is the deal with Dr Earth soils? I have not found a way to dial them in for me.

How do you use or adjust them?
