Hello Friends , I'm growing in Foxfarms Bushdoctor this time , I usually just use Foxfarn ocean ,
Well the Bushdoctor is more coco , and I added a 1/3 perlite to 2 parts soil as I have for years , Problem I'm having is , its drying back just a tad soon getting a little droop on the 2nd day ( water day ) I'm doing 2 gal. instead of 3's this time also .
Anybody got a trick I can do to keep them a tad wetter up to the 2nd. day of ? Their a week in flower unfornutaley .

Thanks ,
frank

yeah I like a 2 day dry back watering every second day , with this situation the 2 gal . is dry at about 2/3 down with Botton quarter still wet , I hate to water every day and water log the roots
It's practically impossible to over water a established and rooted Coco coir plant since coir by itself holds 22% oxygen per volume at full saturation.

The general consensus is that Coco coir is a hydroponic medium and should be treated as such. The general recommendations are to feed at least two times a day in flower and at least once in veg every day.

I feed 5x a day in flower in flower growing in Coco coir as an example, this is very common growing in drain to waste. Medium stays always wet but goes slightly lighter between waterings for obvious reasons. I even feed during lights out to keep the medium stable(pH, EC).

Hope that makes any sense!

Cheers!
