drying in COlorado

yeah dude! i got most my lights frmo that home depot, got my nutes frmo this place out by Effrins and some from the kandy shop. i'll post more pics just hit 60 days today for the blue dream.. got the clone frmo 14er holistics!!

sry to be a bit off subject... just was reading thru and wanted to say:

CFL's grow VERY nice bud. you can have HUGE ROCK-HARD nugs of PRIMO stuff under cfl's. in fact, they work better than t5's IME if u do it right, get the right bulbs, reflectors and set it all up right. You need the right color temps, and all of that. I had about 400W of CFL's in a small closet once... worked nice. for instance at one time in that set up i had two very nice plants that were no more than 2 feet tall at finish. both had about 1.5 oz of very primo bud.
ive also grown both cfl and hps in comparison with clones and such. honestly it was easier to get higher quality end product with the CFL's, just takes longer and doesnt produce as much w/o alot of cfl's. HPS does not produce "better" or "more dense" bud. it just typically grows more or faster than most cfl set ups.

about the humidity issue... u can easily manipulate humidity levels with water sitting on something warm. i use old gallon jugs and put about 8oz of water in the bottom and set it on my radiator. just dont mix water and electricity :)
its also possible to still have good bud with it drying that quick, as long as it didnt get too hot or a lot of light. i thought i ruined some bud once cuz of this, turned out okay in the end. im sure it would have tasted a bit better and all if i could have dried it the "proper" way tho. just make sure u keep it out of light and heat.
(im not condoning quick drying. just pointing out that if u dont do a super slow dry, u didnt ruin your stuff. proper bud will still taste and smoke good)

I started to chop them down and hang with fan leaves and everything on, drying in about 5-6 days with no air blowing on it.
. I ALWAYS leave the sugar leaves on when drying. I trim them ALL off meticulously once dry, even if its after curing. maybe its cuz i have a volcano to use them in... but i always try to get all the fan leaves off, provided they dont have resin. I get extremely nice looking/smoking nugs this way. people always ask why my buds are cured so much better than everyone elses. No big tricks or secrets, just get ALL of the leaves off before combusting(in a volcano u can use straight leaves tho, not in normal smoking tho).
ive noticed big huge fan leaves left on when drying can cause problems. AND NEVER EVER leave fan leaves on drying plants from outside. they may have bugs that u didnt see.
just my two cents... not dissing anyone else's method. just trying to share what works for me.
