Drying in grow tent with lights on

Hey, so I've been hearing that it's no good to dry when there are other plants flowering cause light degrades THC, but aren't the trichomes under the light when they are flowering anyways?

What gives? Can someone explain this to me?

Yes some of the trichomes are "damaged" by the light on a growing plant, BUT they are replaced by new ones during the dark cycle. That is why a lot of people like to give there plants 24-36 hours of darkness before a harvest.

Your precious harvested buds are no longer living so they are incapable of regenerating damaged trichs. Word.
