It's a fact of life that men like to inflate the figure of the notches on their bedposts as much as women like to decrease their numbers.

When she was initially broached on the question then she could've said flat out that she wouldn't reveal and the past is in the past. Or she could've said a few less!! Taking 90% off the total figure was a bit much!!!

And she really shouldn't have gone to that party!! Lol

wouldnt be happy, its not right for someone to start off a relationship on a level playing field of we both know each others past then but o wait yeah surprise some things arnt what you thought. s/he cheated for that other partner but wait theres more , its while you 2 where fighting and sorta broke up. or lie to them about it leaving bad conscience and karma looming. some people say they are one way but then they become 2 faced. stick to your ideals. if your best friend did things thats not who they are then the relationship gets kinda funny. their willing to do things like that without marriage what happens in marriage habits become lifestyles. what he/she does in the dating is more likely to occur in marriage based out of habit. if you say your a faithful person then be one. if your a well i like flirts on the side, better it be known then found out. ones the knots tied then its well clean slates. or at least it should be. everything brought out before you decide to marry.built better relationships that what its all about.

Shit in the past is in the past, I never asked her how many dudes she's fucked because I don't care as long as she doesn't fuck other dudes while she's with me. I've never her told her my numbers either, and she's never asked. I've done that game before and it always ends up coming up later, or hanging over the relationship somehow.

Fuck that noise.

The only thing bad about being promiscuous is being careless about safety, other than that, it falls on an individuals character if they decide to lie about it or bend the truth to appear more sexually conservative.

In this case, I'm in agreement with the issue is the lie, not the action. I think the OP of that thread is probably in his late teens, early twenties, and very immature when it comes to real life experience. People have sex, sex is fun, and college is a place where you are legally allowed to let loose for the first time in your young life, to limit that experience based on some potential future relationship with some sexually immature person would be tragic. Most men will understand if you hooked up with more than a few guys during college, and the ones that won't and/or judge you for it don't deserve your time to begin with.

The past is the past...
Yesterday, is gone...
Men, be more secure...
Women, don't take your new man anywhere where your past will laugh at you...
Honesty is always the best way...

If you need to ask the question phrase it this way:

"Hey babe, I slept with a few women in my life, but was always careful...
within 50, how many guys you been with...???

homey should have remembered the formula:

Number of guys she admits fucking x 3 x (number of piercings -2) / number of Amy Grant songs on her ipod

do the math and youll see the formula always works.

She is who she is and he loved her enough to be engaged. Maybe she lied because she wanted to live up to his standards to be with him.
Maybe her train of thought changed and she wanted to be with this one dude.

Quote from the movie "Goon" (great flick BTW awesome hockey violence w/Sean William Scott Aka Stiffler)

Eva: "You make me wanna stop sleeping with a bunch of guys."
Doug: "That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me."
Look, the past is the past for a reason, it is behind us.

Perhaps, the dude should suck it up and grow a set if he really loved her in the first place, after all Im sure he also did things
in his past that she wouldn't like. He sounds to me like he is a suck. Sac up man!

Ah it's judgement day every day...

I think some of you judging the woman for lying or being an experienced sex partner don't have their priorities straight (ego > relationship). Probably not the most ugly chick either, fucked 50 guys and still picked you in the end.

Isn't it obvious why she lied? Cause of the cliche responses she expected and gets, and get repeated in forums. Cause she wants him to think highly of him and knows how men feel about women having sex with many men. Cause he can't handle the truth.

Imo the only thing she did wrong is not lie good enough and/or realize how insecure he is. All women have their secrets. If she made an effort during their relationship, that is all that counts. The truth is not a goal by itself. Plenty of valid reasons to lie, people do it all day every day in the best relationships. "you look gorgeous honey" "of course you were the best I ever had" "that goatee looks so good on you" "no you don't have a fat ass"

What about the multipliers for smoking cigarettes as a teenager and tramp-stamp tats?

Anniv card I gave the wife last month...

"marriage is the art of celebrating what matters and forgetting what doesn't"

She gave me a mushy card with lots of words.

Point is, if she told me today that she slept with a 1000 boys in college, it would not change my love for her.

Live in the now.

it's all rolled into the formula.

smoking in youth, and tramp stamps as it turns out are irrelevant due to the Amy Grant Divisor. This eliminates the extraneous and redudntant factors, reducing the formula to an elegant expression of true sluttiness which allows you to target your one night stands on those cutlets most likely to be receptive to your advances, while also assisting in the evaluation of a prospectrive long term mate's propensity to whore around.

you dont really want to hit your 15tgh aniversary and discover that your sweet loving wife, and mother of your children spent her college years running a Marathon of Cocks, or that some of those TWENTY FOUR MILES of dick were actually run under your watch, while you were serving in afghanistan or attending to your father's funeral, or even, just working late.

Take it as a compiment that she traded in multiple gang bangs for you lol.

literally rolling on the floor laughing. Geez I wish I was high.

That said, I learned a long time ago to not ask. Just be glad she's with you now. Blow jobs from heaven aren't created at birth, believe that.

Secondly, as a guy who's have had my fair share of women, (and prolly some of you guys share as well) when you meet someone you love who has been a lot more controlled in their sex lives it's embarrassing to be honest. I love my fiancé to death, I wish I could have met her and cut out 90+% of all the other women in my life. I honestly feel bad. So I would advise the guy to marry her, and move her ass far far away. She'll love that man to the end of the world and back.

id walk too! sorry ladies trust and loyalty are more important then old sexual idiosyncrasy

people are responsible for their choices, her choice that was wrong was to lie about a honest question . . . . .out of embarrassment , what other embarrassing things may happen that are now ok to lie about

the sexual shit aint an issue its the after the fact ripple effects of guilt to actions never properly dealt with pycologically and to me it is hard to come back from lieing about personal guilt . .. .as what else is worthy to lie about and use guilt as a defense act

no judgement ,

no anger

just truth and respect for yourself and others
