DWC from seed question

okay so I have my seed germinated and in rockwool, once I see some roots coming through the bottom I will put it in my DWC single shot system, do I then begin with week one of my nute-feeding schedule? Or do I start it with just RO water and superthrive or something like that? Total DWC noob here would love some from seed pointers before I make a big mistake!

thank you ++rep for non trollish comments

I'm a newb but I have been told not to nute...But since I grow in soil (just MG) I add some african violet and few other less hard nutes. I'm waiting till week 2 of actual veg to start nutes

I just throw in a couple of cap-fulls to start and wait until they start looking like they need nutrients (they start to lighten up in color) then get the ball rolling with 1/4 strength (in DWC). And kind of splitting hairs, I just make sure the bottom of the net pot is staying damp from the popping bubbles - enough moisture works its way up from there to keep the rockwool only very slightly damp - almost dry but not quite.

In my case for the first 2 weeks or so, I only used water from our drill. It comes at around 250 ppms, obviously without clorine or any other chemical and worked perfectly. Check out my grow if you like.

I always have 1/2" up my net pot (as I don't drip from top) and plants grow well.
This is the way I do it too. No need for a pump or to water from top because the splashing of the bubbles do enough and let the roots search down for water...Oh yeah once the second set of leaves show you can start at 1/4 strength.. Always start off light with seedlings, they arent built like clones.

Most definately.. "less is more" especially in non-recirculating dwc. You can always add more, its a bit harder to correct lockouts or burning from too much.
