Dwc Grow Club

011.jpg010.jpg007.jpg005.jpg004.jpg014.jpg002.jpg003.jpgNo worries any longer on the sick clones. In the last few weeks have been making changes to the grow room, and realizing that i just need to listen to my plants. But at 1 month from coming home, they are loving their training an growing beautifully. Thanks for the input though.

HomeGrownHairy - yes i know they are small but they are fully rooted clones just early on in the stage.

paste for log:
Update wk 6 -4wks flower (2morrow)

Took a look at the Dog plants leavesand i can see more signs of leaf damage, im not sure whats eating away at my plant and why only this one? I took a look threw my scope and can see some sort of bug on it. Going to hot box it 2morrow and spray with bug spray(cant remember the name).Apart from that the gardens looking good the Blue cheese looks like its going to spread out every where its going to need alot of tying up when it buds the stems are alot thicker than the normal cheese so it might be a bit more sturdy. The dog has some long spaced out branches not the best to take cuts from i took a few today anyway abit later in to flowering than i would like.
Got some Ghe ripen -anybody used it? Did you notice any difference in wieght or taste?
Heres some pic:

Here's one lol. I have a question: Do more of you guys use rockwool, or not use rockwool in your grows. I do use tiny cubes inside of a net pot with some hydroton on top, and I have never had mold problems, but I never want to either. What do you guys do? Point out any pros/cons you can think of..

I've never used rockwool. not because I don't like it, just because it's not available in my area.
I germinate or clone in jiffy7 peat moss and throw those in 100% perlite.
Here is my stalk bout a week ago I think.

Both work well.,i use clay balls mostly ,as long as you ph correct them before hand they should be good. Cover both of them aswell stops light through gaps of ball and alg on rockwool.

Pwizzlwe ,whats that you growing? Chunky looking stalk almost like ginger!! mines gets a bit messy down the bottom aswell ,spent ages cleanin it up the other day .

Nice thread.. I have a dumb question actually. I have always been using the dwc set up and on this site I have been noticing that a lot of people have a screen located above the girls. Is this just a drying rack or does it actually do something for grow purposes?
I have done the bend tech and that I thought was a good way to keep the height down, is the rack basically the same thing but lets them get taller and then they just grow along the screen.... Happy 4:20bongsmilie

yeah, the plant vegitates under the screen then when flower time comes you have a full even canopy of colas.

Does this method help with the size of buds or should I just continue with the bend method? I like how this way you get a bunch of head buds instead of just one on the top.

yeah, it helps with the size of all of the bud sites rather than only the main tops being massive all the buds are massive.
