DWC Water level

So I'm using a 3x3 tent with dwc. My plants are in transplant shock right now, so they are crapping up a bit and I'm waiting for them to get better but I can't help but think that one of my plants might still be getting over watered. I'm so new at this, i couldn't find any answer that made sense to me.

What do you guys think, is this water level too much? They went from soil to pebbles about 5 days ago and have not yet made any noticeable root progress.

Also how fast do you guys usually see results when you fix things?
i.e. too much water, plants start to droop, so you take away some water. In your experience long does it take the plants to recover

your waters far to high ...... You want it about 1" below the pot and the bubbles popping will water your hydroton ........ You can lower another 2" when they start coming out the bottom :)

you need air between the water and the bottom of the netpot basically but not too much and to to little.

Okay, I will lower it because I don't know what else to do. It just doesn't make sense in my mind haha. The inner pot is pretty big and the plug only reaches down a couple inches at best. I just don't see how the bubbles splashing can wick up that far in the hydroton. Gotta be at least 4 or 5 more inches before it hits the plug, and I'm pretty sure there's like no root growth out of the plug itself. I'll give it a try none the less

the bubbles poppling from the surface can reach about 8" surprisingly:)

but i wouldn't go so far as for problems or something with root nots or something idk im no expert lol

some are saying at the bottom ..... But you've allready soaked your hydroton so you should be fine where you've got it now :) good luck

hydroton should stay damp enough to coax roots out but not sopping wet, hence bubbles popping 1" below net pot.... Hydroton is clay and will transfer moisture between its self (between pebbles)

I grow in dwc my 2 cents is until I see roots I fill the bucket to the second hole up on the net pot. Oncebi see roots I put it even with the bottom of the net pot then once there are several say 3 weeks into veg I put it 1-2 inches below!
