Emergency harvest! Ever had to do it?

Came home from work last week after the first day of a nasty windstorm. I looke in the back yard and found one of my 2 girls blown over with broken branches. Crap. I did a little work and tied it back up and snipped the badly broken stems off and got ready to trim them up even though it was a bit early looking. Then I looked back a little farther and saw that the fence between my neighbor and I was broken and we now almost had a swing gate between the properties! SHIT! GOTTA CHOP!!!
So off they came and and got hung up in the barn ready for trimming. Good thing, too. The next day the fence was fixed and they had to work from my side. Now, after 3 days of trimming after work till midnight they are all hanging and drying nicely
Anyone else ever had to grab and run before? I'l love to hear some stories.

One of my outdoor grows got ripped off once. They just took the top cola's and left the rest. I don't think I'd ever been so angry. It was very close to harvest and we just harvested what was left which turned out to be pretty good smoke.

It's almost November, when were you going to pull them?

Was going to give them another week at most. I'm only a 2nd year grower and some of the branches hadn't developed all that well. I was hoping another week would do something for them. Probably wishfull thinking. I'll rethink my grow methods for next year like I did this past spring. I did pretty good my first time around and better this time. Next year should be great.

i went to check on my irls yesterday and when i was approaching them i could see two color hues, light green branches and yellow/brown branches. i thought i was trippin, but when i saw them yo could see that mildew spread so quick and hard that it started killing off whole branches. fucking pissed cause i had to chop down the plants and salvage what i could.
I could probably blame the wind for spreading the mildew so fast cause they were really strong the other day and the spores could've taken off in every direction

The harvest window for sativas is a couple of weeks so you're probably ok pulling them now.

nice thieves ,there is still some honor . cola topping is rare but the nicer form of thievery. my crop got half jacked once , i think someone spooked them . im positive if id a left em theyd all be gone.

I think I've had to do an emergency harvest of some plants every year! It seems like at least 1 or 2 plants that are not done get a storm to take them out. I'm gonna only grow quick flowering strains from now on. The weather beat the shit out of a lot of growers this year.

Budworms overtook basically the whole grow i ended up with like 5 grams of finished product. it sucked
