Can you prop them up on something and get them closer to the lights?
I'm about to go check on mine, she got her first feed 2 days ago.

Thanks, hopefully I can see her through . I've done a solo cup grow once before, but it was a photo period plant.
From what I’ve read they flower quick and are pretty resilient. Let’s see how the roots do in a straight jacket haha

Oh the lights on yoyos... it's actually only a few inches above them, I'm not really sure why they're stretching so much... it's a 90w 4 tube t5 too so it's not like it's a weak light either... there were a lot of plants in there until yesterday though so maybe that's why?

Mine stretched, but no lean at all. So far I've watered 1x a day and usually firmly compact the coco after she's watered. Might be why she's upright on her own.
Yeah, in hindsight I wish I had buried the plugs further down in the cups but oh well, next ones I will. Or plant straight into the coco... that's what you did right?

Maybe the rapid rooters aren't the best in this application

I always go straight to my coco. No soaking seeds or using wet papertowl. Just pre-soak my coco with water and cal mag and the next day plant the seed. Hardly ever get a dud.

The wildfire smoke finally cleared enough to allow some sunshine to break though.

The soil pot gals are stretching for the sun, where as the solo cups are almost stubby....likely because I keep them close to the CFL bulbs.

The gals in soil pots are very low maintenance, haven't watered them for over a week now, but they won't do much with autumn approaching.

These have to be the most pathetic plants I've ever grown, and I have grown in solo cups before with good results.

Not sure if it's the seeds (which came from a hermie Jack Herer plant) or if it's something else

my CFL's are old & weak and the temps have been high (85 to 88F), so I replaced the lights with LED bulbs

six 6500K 23 watts CFL bulbs = 138 watts total
IMG_1321.JPG

Seven LED bulbs (10 to 14 watts each) for about 80 watts total.....the temps are much better at about 76F

Here's a pic of 2 photo plants I grew under LED bulbs.....but they were male, so were terminated.

and another batch of photos I grew for an experiment with CFL's, but never finished them

Well your all doing better than me lol... the plant in soil looks like complete garbage on the bottom there... Mephisto in the middle was planted several days later and is way outgrowing the WickedPissahs... but that's not too surprising, here's another Mephisto and WickedPissah that are the same age as each other
