Do you also think that appointing Jack Smith, who previously was working in the Hague on the successful prosecutions of world leaders who committed crimes against humanity, to head a department with 12 other prosecutors and a practically unlimited budget was just window dressing? Just for show? Do you think that Jim Jordan, and most other Republicans in Congress are putting their own careers on the line to stop those investigations are doing so because they think "nothing is going to happen"?

This is why it is hard to overstress the importance of local politics. School boards etc. are the farm teams for the state and national political big leagues.

This is just stupid. You could make more money than Trump did by starting with his amount and investing it in mutual funds.

The bankruptcies were always tactical. He vampired the remaining liquidity into his accounts. Before learning to work campaign donations, that was his modus to keep him in Boeings and yellow toilets.
