FatTonys Attempt At Glory...

Hello all. Im new to these forums, and have been reading alot of good information on your site. I hope that I can acheive something close to what alot of you have done. Now for my story..

I ordered some seeds back in November(Ten to be specific). Being over anxious I decided to plant them, and killed 7 of them in the process:wall: The other 3 survived and I kept them alive with Winter Day Light, which is roughly a weak 8/ strong 16. They were starved for light, and you can tell in my first picture just how bad they were looking.

My oldest one started to show 2 or 3 white hairs and I began to panic. I knew that her current state would never be able to hold bud. I recently got my own place and got some lights for the plants. As you can tell by the rest of the pictures, they are looking much, much better now.

Ive got them on 24/0 light right now, but im a little confused. If a plant is given little ammounts it flowers, but can you reverse that process, and let it veg again before flowering when the plant is much larger? I know my plants are spindlely and nothing compared to others, but its all been quite the learning experience for me. So if possible please dont flame to hard:roll:

Also, im planning on moving these outside in the summer when they get a little larger, as they are a very tall sativa strand.

Any information is greatly appreciated, and I will keep updating my plants progress as time moves on. Thanks alot!

Edit: Sorry one more question.. what is the main difference between 24/0 and 18/6? Which is better?

Yes you can stop flowering and go back to veg you will have a slow down revert time which may add 2-4 weeks of growing time needed.Good thing is you know if it showed hairs its a girl so you can pull clones before flowering again when she fills in

Ahhh thank you very much! I was very afraid that once flowering had started it was not reversable. All 3 of my plants are female as I got feminized seeds for an extremely low price.

Here are some pictures of my grow set up, any comments or suggestions would be great.

UPDATE:

Added some mylar on the 26th. I hope it helps the plants out a little more with the whole light dealie. Im also giving my plants some miracle grow/iron supplement every other watering. It seems to be doing them good as well. Any comments or suggestions welcome.:hump:

Hey thanks! Where I live, police should not be an issue at all. Im worried about Nature (Deer and bugs mostly:?). But yes, they are a sativa strand so they will grow tall. I am toppin them every few nodes now, and they are starting to get noticeably bushy in only the last week and a half..

Oh and to Cheetah: My seeds came from Nirvana. They are great, and I just put in an order for another 10 for funs and giggles :blsmoke: I will be documenting their growth as well on this thread, just as soon as I get them.

Update- It is amazing how fast these damn plants grow... i'm getting overwhelmed. But I guess thats why they call it "Weed" right?

- Look at her Go!

The miracle grow mix I gave them has had too much of a concentration of nutrients to water, as I can tell by the leaves wilting slighty. Time to flush I guess:joint:

Hey thanks!

Just wanted to show you how well my youngest one has done since I gave them a higher water to nutrient ratio.

This ones gettin taller, i just topped her again so I guess we should see her gain some weight.

u can lower ur lights. make them close to the plants(will increase growth), but dont let the plants touch anything or they might burn

look nice and green, there back to veg , but did u see any hairs when there were in 12/12?, or do u see any now?, i would top them again and lower the light like anotha member said, u could make sum lil bushes if u keep toping ,and use those cuttings for clones, but make sure they are females first, just because there fem seeds doesnt mean they will all be fem.. good luck keep us updated!

Hey thank you. Yes, on the two biggest is saw hairs on both. But they have seemed to stop that and are now just growing rapidly.

I have a question. I have branches extending outwards at the bottom half of the plant. The leaders look like this-

Should I cut where the black line is? I know how to cut an apical leader but this seems different to me and i am stuck. I dont want to fuck it up.

Any suggestions? I can even go get some pictures of the acutal places I am refering to if you guys want.
