well i have recently been informed, by Dr. Lawerence Dewolf, that the new MEMO regarding medical marijuana is : In an e-mail memo to U.S. attorneys nationwide, the department called for legally targeting "large-scale, privately operated industrial marijuana cultivation centers" as well as distribution operations known as dispensaries, the Detroit Free Press reported Friday.

This really is a fight for freedom. At least there are some people within the government who have the right idea.

for the following reasons:

They dont have the $$ to hunt down every caregiver/patient, no way
They dont know who we are yet, they have to subpena the records from DHS first, which should end up in court.
They better have better things to do than look for the little guy.

They want you to get scared so you stop growing and its working.

Yup they are coming..... and they are not going to be knocking on the doors looking to not take you to jail and rip every plant outta the dirt. The organization of our government is astonishing! The speed at which they can work together "wow". You could be on the list right know and not even know it. Never think you have outsmarted them. I can already see me working basically for the government in 10 years. We all knew this would happen. Look at Canada now. Look at our history with beer and wine. Look at big tabacco. All began with the citizens making it and ended with the government taking it. If there is power or money in anything the government has to limit you.

The whole thing that beer making went through marijuana is about to go through and you will be known basically as boot leggers. Which if I am not mistaken will probley hold a heavy fine in court.

In 10 year I might just be growing because I have a government contract. This will be the end to the crooked caregiver the good caregiver and all types of caregivers in MI.

but yet if you ever had to be in a traffic stop and show a cop your card.. they know who you are and pretty sure they will keep a record.

i moved away from my house after my mom's foreclosure and the contractor came by (story from neighbor) and saw my old grow area (no plants) just a black tarped area. he called the local twnship cops and when they came by, checked things out and they were aware i had a my card.

the only way they would have known this was to either make a really good guess or from when i got pulled over and took a sobriety test after leaving the bar. (passed) i don't really drink, gf just bar tends - anyways near the end of the stop they asked if i had my card and i said yes. this was after he comment on the smell of "dope" and asked if there was any in the car. answer was no but later i showed my card and i went on my way.

plus i have heard from those in the criminal justice program around the local college that the local cops are working to help and get warrants for the feds. sooo.. you tell me if that subpoena thing really keep you asleep at night

risky business!!!! my thing is, is $15000 a month really worth 3-5 years in prison? im completely on the fence and want some serious answers to the questions to our legality as card holders and how far these "pot cards" will really make it until they are thrown out in the court of law...

It has always been the luck and smarts streets. If they want ya they will get ya. You know that this med shit was not for you to be raking in $15.000 a month. Hell those are meth maker wages.

I think we as citizens would rather just see that breed grow out. If you are a care giver you should not be making that much money from your patients. I feel as though the cops will feel the same way about you.

The problem with this is that although many of us know the problems that have arisen with the MMP program, it should be up to the voters of the state of Michigan to solve their own problems. The war on Drugs is a money pit and marijuana is not a schedule 1 drug. That's the problem, oppression of a commodity that's already being traded, (more marijuana produced in this state that sugar beets), it could develope into a multi-million dollar industry and is being quashed by a federal program/policy that has never worked, never will, and everybody knows it.

It's about time! I am sick of hearing everyone making bank on care giving, with 4 patients no way they are doing just that. I say bust them all, and the dispensaries. 99% of em are just drug dealers trying to front as legal ops anyway. Get rid of them they are the ones going to ruin it for the legal following patients.

you believe care givers shouldn't be making all this $?! i 100% disagree. how else would you prefer a caregiver to make $? well if you are like me than u know working 40 hours a week on top of maintaining a large garden for my patients is quiet difficult, and i did this for a long time. after spending thousands of dollars ($14000-17000) investing in equipment and knowledge i damn well better see that returned to me 20 fold. all i know is i work for my $, i give my patients their meds(2 oz a month), free, i get rid of what they dont want to other patients for donation. growing GOOD weed costs $.

so your telling me if a person has 5 patients and 12 plants per patient, which would b 60 plants (mind you im not even counting if your growing for yourself, that would be 72 plants) after they givin out 2 oz to each patient after a harvest, they arent supposed to take donations for it, i mean come on dude, wtf are u supposed to do with the left overs after you have supplied your own patients?! be real here. what your saying sounds like you have a trust fund and $ is not a problem for you, well let me tell u that its a problem for almost all of michigan and when people can finally have some income coming in, which im paying taxes on thank you, it really helps. remember dude michigan made this legal and in the law itself it says that medical marihuana transactions is not considered illegal drug sale, or something similar to this. i dont run a cartel, i dont run a mob, im not a gangster im a fucking white boy following the law.. meth maker wages?!
