Fellow Michigan Medical Marijuana Grower with no one to talk 'Grow Tactics' with!

Been a member quite awhile dropped some lines here and there nothing serious. I guess I'm reaching out this time to share and indulge in the experience a bit more. Friendly criticism & suggestions are welcome also I love to share my techs and ideas so feel free to inquire!


- Currently Active Flowering. Two Subcool http://tgagenetics.com/index.php/Strains/chernobyl.html trees. Consuming 90% of 8'Lx4'Dx7'H or about 28 sq ft under the 1400w, 1000w Hortilux Eye 400w phillips hps duo, I rotate daily. The remaining light is being absorbed by four Super Silver Haze plants each about 2'. Phasing the SSH out of my line up so these were just threaded into the canopy.


1.
-What each Flowering Chernobyl looked liked 2.5 wks in before leveling them. They were Topped, Fim'ed, Lsted & Pruned their whole life.

-Here you can see the french doors unveiling 3 of 4 of the SSH on bucket stilts on the back wall and The Chernobyls in 10 gallon totes with their canopy slightly leveled.

- Here the Bloom room is full 32 sq ft 1400w's no light on the ground. Wish I had another 1000w. Chernobyl canopy had its final leveling should be able to finish from here possibly have to adjust one of them again seeing its 2 weeks younger. They are 5 wks and 3 wks into flowering currently I usually harvest around 9 wks. I expect 8 - 12 cured per plant.

Well that's the present Flower chamber soon to become the new veg room. Foliage closet just moved from 16 sq ft room to 36 sq ft tent which will become the new bloom room! I'm loving this new tent here's a current peek as I'm utilizing it for now.

Maybe it's your camera; but that looks like ditch weed man. Beautiful work on the canopy, I'm with Homeless - you need to up your genetics. That's too much work not to be growing something pretty. Welcome to our nightmare!

Yup I'm going out of my way to grow some regs lmao! Ive grown N.lights, Sensi Star, White widow, g13, Perma Frost, pinapple express, Ak47, Casey Jones and a few others and thus far The SSH is the worst and the Chernobyl is my Fav! I dont care who crossed them, just care about the quality and this chernobyl is righteous! Melts pain away harvests good. Not remarkable on taste or smell but its definitly quality! Anyways this isnt about the strains its about the experience and techniques.

Happy growing people, was hoping to avoid pointless comments.

@bozo Vertical is why I purchased My 8" cool tube I need 4 more then I will change to vertical lighting and 5000w. My plan is to put the grow on stilts and suck air from under the room and pipe it straight out the ceiling. I will then switch to 20 Gallon recirculating dwc's and grow some pound bushes indoor! Cant wait! Thanks for the info bozo!

@fatMarty It's funny to me, you think you could judge the quality from those pics, just a desperate post. Step your knowledge up so you don't look silly, just from making a nonsense post lol! That's like saying you can determine quality in vegetative state, of the final product or better yet bet you can sex seedlings the day they burst too right? Careful brah; I know Marty's work pretty well as a breeder having grown it out from seed myself. Homie knows what's what genetically and I also grew out some TGA shit; Marty wins all day long. You wanted comments and criticism don't hate when you get what you ask for.

also in the process of growing martys gear and must say its performing better than any tga gear

Well how can I get my hands on those GENES!! And there is a difference between criticism and plan out being rude. Anyhow What would be an outperforming strain? If it gets noticeably better with some one else's gear then I'm missing out completely! I figure i average .7 to .8 per watt of high class meds with any strain I've ever grown. Maybe I'm missing something. Please fill me in. Im quite seasoned. And I'm a good sport I don't mind being told what's up, gotta love learning and also because I have no problem giving it right back when needed lol all with a smile!

I don't care what he thinks of me or my stuff - really. I don't run anything here. I welcome anyone as long as they aren't a snitch. He got off on the wrong foot; so did a lot of guys here. We mostly watch each other here: I wouldn't be surprised if someone I respect tells us all I'm an asshole in this situation. But sometimes asshole just brings out the PTSD in me... Both me and Homeless were offering constructive criticism: neither of us would grow that shit, and if we did, we wouldn't post images of our folly expecting praise for our hard work. We would expect the truth.

OP? Read the thread about TGA and Michigan. We hav been through this before.

Again good passion. Good skills. IMHO better genetics and a thicker skin would be helpful.

Dude why would you grow Name brand seeds, you need to grow some no name hermies seeds, that way they can pollnate there selfs and you will have more seeds to grow. Fuck that TGA stuff, gets you too high and doesn't give you seeds, LOL
