i've noticed that too... i never set'em up like this before with'em evenly covering a big area but the cross lighting between the lights seems to really improve the pentration to closer to hps lighting. It's only in that little cab, but that little cab is well lit :) and i'm putting the two 4' t8 64w UVB lamps in tonight as well (shoulda done it before but you know how it is). getting ready to go do that momentarily -- might i take pics... i just might :)

Just got done transplanting, watering in and retying the last 5 that were still in 1.5 gallons. All except the runt had a solid rootmass throughout the pot. The runt had about 1/10th of the pot it still had not grown roots into. Exciting -- everyone's in their final homes!!

Only the runt is now unsexed. The other ChernoJill was a female. She actually has trichs on the stipules and pistils already (in veg still). The runty chernojill's preflowers look 100% female except no pistils yet... they look like they've got a spot for the pistils to poke out, just none yet :)

Hey bro where did you get the usb microscope from? and does it take still images too?

Yes it does take still images as well. I actually got it from my local hydro store :) it wasn't too expensive I think $60 or so... i've seen a better digital scope around though i may upgrade someday i think it was like 100x or 300x... it's a Carson Zorb digital microscope you can find'em online for $40-45 (just googled)

New video coming tonight... fucking gross though... i'm pulling the remaining veg girls out of the cab for the first time in almost a week and have a chocolate chunkey monkey that smells exactly like burning rubber.... or really a little closer to the burning rubber & hair smell my vacuum cleaner makes when there's too much hair wrapped around the rubber belt. Gross. Hope it changes in flower :)

What's it look like Reef? The funky rubber.. I think mine smell that way, they are wholly covered in trichs--even the giant fans have a bunch if trichs

Getting ready to post a vid of them :) Owl if you want my 5-gallon smartpots (the ones you had before and returned), let me know... after this flower i don't wanna use'em i'll get more airpots if i need to :)

Just put another chocolate chunkey monkey into flower due to no choice -- lack of flower space due to stretch. Girls are stretching as much horizontally as vertically. So as of tonight there'll be 12/18 in flower... i need to mark which went in when on them so i can keep track of what date they went into flower

Thanks for the updates, Reef. Its looking damn fine in there.

I was wondering if you had come across a "bag of candies" smell that Frankfast had noticed in one of his TWs... I think if we can find a sweet smelling pheno to compliment this potency we will hit a home run.

Nice not yet but I haven't been doing individual smell tests I'm only catching whiffs of whatever as I'm pulling them out and honestly most of them I don't smell anything at all... either this batch is real low order so far (sure it will change in flower) or i'm too saturated in the smell :) but i don't smell it when I come back home from work either. No candy pheno but sure would like to find one I'm definitely a lover of the good smelling babies. So far I'm really liking what I'm seeing they're putting off lots of nodes with good internodal distance... no big stretchers so far with big distances between the nodes that i've seen - so looks like there'll be some nice colas! Based on how they look I don't think we're gonna see flowers until at least day 10... I don't see any signs at day 7 that they're about to emerge.

As long as I find at least one pheno where the high is what i've been hearing stories about (like cutting through any other high you already have), I'll be happy regardless of taste, especially if they keep being so happy through flower.... but it would definitely be the cherry on the ice cream to find one with a spectacular taste and smell to go with it. That would definitely make one a keeper over another. I hope there's a clear keeper that I get a cut of as I'm really not trying to run all 9 timewrecks again... I don't have space to run everything in clone again and add ace in too :) Sorry to CCM but most likely CCM will get one cut kept (if I find a really good one) and all the rest will be binned... the TWs and CSJ will be keeping any that are close enough to seeming like it may be a keeper after another run... I definitely want to find the best female of those even if it takes multiple runs... although with the CSJ I've got a keeper if the big one's high is as nice as she grows... she's definitely super vigorous that 8 gallon one :)

Just got done with the first real group watering of flower. Watered the night crew. Everyone looking fantastic... most have flowers forming that should be opening soon. I moved some more into 12/12... now 12/18 are in flower. Of the remaining 6, I'm looking at them thinking 4 will go into 12/12 tomorrow and 2 need to stay in veg. The sickliest timewreck that hasn't fully recovered from overwatering (but is definitely almost there) and the runt csj (fine just small) gotta stay in veg for now... the timewreck until it's fully recovered and the csj until it's looking more matured. I really wanted to wait longer on putting most of these last ones into flower, but unfortunately there is no choice -- running out of room. Even with 12 in flower now I can still barely fit them all in because of how fast they are growing each day. When I get them all into flower it should be just about enough space, but still may get crowded. Very happy to see flowers about to open.

Cuttings are doing well so far -- usually if I get'em to survive this long I get at least 50% survival. Misted'em today some of the rooter tops were starting to get a little dry. No roots yet but I don't think I should be seeing roots until middle to late this week based on previous experience.

Wait til I kick the CO2 on after this coming week again... MWUAHAHAHAHAHA

Your TimeWreck of the day -- this is one of the runtier but pretty ones. Great internodal distances. There are a couple of timewrecks that are stretchier with longer internodal distances... hope those aren't the keepers :) although they are the prettiest ones (and tallest).

Oh yeah I think I may have an issue... those of you who have LEDs may know how if you are in a lot of the flower light then you go back to normal light, you get a green shade until your eyes readjust... well, lets just say my eyes no longer see the red spectrum like shows up in the pictures... it is just about to the point where my eyes see the red flower lighting as NORMAL light now. What is up with that? Maybe my eyes are my eyes evolving -- or more likely my brain is rewiring to process the LED lighting as if it were normal? :) Science shows that that kind of rewiring often has other unrelated effects, wonder what those might be... I gotta keep learning... over 40 I know a lot of people at my age who've stopped learning much and are just in their day to day rut... use it or lose it I say :) But then again I'm one of those people who enjoys getting high and doing complex tasks still ;) Well, I'd rather be just smoking for the most part but life requires it, so...

Nice! Just watered most of the day crew... I pHed to 6.5 by feel! Mixed up 4 gallons of water with some different stuff in it... put some pH up in... though to myself that's not going to get it to where it needs to be... put some more in... mixed it up... got the pH meter.... 6.5 :) This is their last watering with superthrive and the GO root stimulator 1-1-1 nutes... after this it'll be pretty much all water with a lil ej catalyst then molasses around weeks 3-5 then just water.

First flowers should be opening on at least half in the next 1-2 days... rest look like just after day 10. Everybody still super happy and growing. Putting 4 more in flower today will only be 2 left not in flower after today.

Haha I was looking at the top of the page at the post from less than 10 days ago right before flower when they were all in the cab together... my how they've grown in such a short time!

Daytime ChernoJill in the 8 gallon - she's gonna be a yielder -- I expect at least 3-4z (please please please). More possible? Dunno she went in pretty small

10 ace of spades in dirt after soaking 12 hours... gonna try and keep'em 68-72 to get as many females as possible. No solos this time. Fuck solos.

you better find a good pheno of aos in there.

keep your eyes peeled for the BCS herm though. i had some late flower stamens, but it was probably stress induced. just keep it in mind.

she looks and smellllllls nic though. and smoke is pretty good (green one is the sock knocker though)

I had a couple last round that had some late term bananas that I picked off that I found about a week+ before harvest... but I had a light leak for the first 3 or 4 weeks of flower (bad timer setting) that i didn't know about until I caught it in action, and had a couple other issues so not counting'em against it yet... apollos as usual champed through that grow like nothing ever happened... hardy motherfuckers those apollos... i think instead of ordering more apollos (hopefully will get that cut back from void) i'll order some tga 3rd dimension and the flav... both apollo crosses that are supposed to smell and taste badass. Wanna find that coconut-pina colad 3-d pheno with the strong apollo high... so many pheno hunts, so little time... so little money, so little grow room...
