first attempt scrog

Hey all! Thought I would post about the first scrog I'm trying, hoping to get
tips or help about what I'm doing.

Currently running 2 150w hps light in a 2'x4' tent with ww x bubblegum, ww x
sweet tooth, which are both female and a regular sleestack skunk 1.

Both ww cross strains are 6 weeks from seed, the ssxs1 is 4 weeks.

Any tips or feedback would be appreciated!

For a successful scrog..I think you will need more light....I tried to do the same thing under a 150W HPS for just one plant....and just didnt work..next scrog was under a 600W HPS (1 plant)...and it worked great....but other than that...they look good.... (Different strains do different things)

Thanks for the reply! I was thinking about adding t5's to the sides, or possibly even another 150 hps. Still undecided, but I think you've helped make up my mind a little more...

i did a scrogg with 1 plant 2 25w t5's got a 1\4lb. focus on a healthy plant and the pot will come

Just an update on my grow. Switched to 12/12 8 days ago after a 6 week veg, and all 3 are confirmed females! Shooting pistils like crazy already!

Are you just letting them grow through the screen? If so you just built a plant support and not a SCROG.


In a SCROG you should aim to 75% fill the screen by bending growth sticking above the screen, back under and along to the next hole.

Then once 75% is full you switch to 12/12 and continue bending and living them until its 100% full and then leave them be to do their thing.

It sounds like i could have done it wrong, but it was a great way to help me LST if not scrog I feel. I kept pulling it back under the screen and bending it over to ensure different chutes were getting exposed to light and growing big. Is that not a proper way to do it? Thanks for the feedback!

heres an update on my scrog, starting to form flowers and still stretching out!

Also, I haven't found much on this strain so I thought I'd post a picture of mine, its Spliff seeds Dutch blue auto... day 51 from seed.

looking real good for 2 150's keep it up! I have one in a armoire, fun little light

Thanks man! It's crazy how different brands of 150's put out more light than the others. My sun light 150 cant even compete with my mini sunburst 150. Fun though!

Was looking for some information on the ww x sweet tooth. This was the only thread I found. How did yours turn out? Yield? High?clones?
I currently have a ww x sweettooth in veg, shes about 7 weeks now.

i did the same kinda thing you did i built a table to basically almost match my plant height then i bent the branches and tucked them under for the first week of stretching making sure more bud sites where getting light and they will all get supported by the screen also. its sort of a lst with a screen like yours. heres 2 critical kush in my 4x4 screen under 1k like 7 days in flower today.

I know I'm super late on this, but I yielded about 3 ounces on it and the high was the best of any of my grows. I've grown probably 10 strains, and that was by far the best. Wish I had taken clones, but I had too many plants as it was so I just let it die off.

I had 2 other plants in with it as well. Heat has also been an issue. This year is worse than last. I just posted another thread asking for help on that earlier. All in all, I got about 7 ounces from the 3 plants together. What would be a normal yield? Thanks bud.

I thought 3 was your only yield.

I would be happy in your setup with a min of 150g. About 5oz.


I've just done 401.5 g from my 400w.

It was a staggered harvest of various strains. Including an auto that flowered while others were vegging and finished 4 weeks into the photoperiod plants 12/12 cycle.
