First Autoflower Any Advice?

Ther is NO WAY YOU SHOULD OR TOP YOUR AUTOs!!! They flower in week 3 or 4 so def not enough time to recover and bounce back!! What i do is def gake a few of the bottom UNDER leaves off so the plant can use its energy to push up and use all energy for bud production!! Just make SURE YOU DO NOT REMOVE LEAVES THAT ARE NEEDED!!!!!!! SO THINK TWICE BEFORE PRUNNING ANYTHING WITH YOUR AUTOs!!!
I havent heard much of anything with hermy problems though!!?! Only thing I have heard is that when growers have inconsistant temps and so on they will produce herms and every strains gonna produce a herm here or ther!! Its like my 2 Skunk Mass Autos, on grows like a pure sativa and the other shows more indica trates!! Sooo just like having babies everyone will be a tad bit diffrent.

hey guys no topping got done. lst been started. I do want honest opinions on this tho. I have the option of picking up a 225 led panel from a friend. he upgraded and I could steal it for less than 30 bucks. I looked it up on line just don't know a lot bout them due to me growing with cfls right now. it will fit in new case which is 2x3x1.5. tell me what u think. I don't wanna waste money thx
hey guys think I did my reply in wrong spot. lst is done. no topping. now on to my real question. I got a new box. fans are in. scrubber is in. now to lights I got the opportunity to basically steal a 225 led panel from a friend that's upgrading it will fit great and all works fine. let me know the opinions on it never dealt with led as im new and using cfl for first time thx

From my experience with autos..once you start them in there final pot and don't top them there pretty stress free plants...the best yeilds I had with autos all came from 2 gallon pots ..they don't veg long enough for a bigger root system..they will grow under any light with any time shedule..you can't stress them with light leaks or any thing like that...i found 20/4 to be best for them..very light on the nutes aswell..hope this helps
it does. I am needing a bigger box so I came up with one. and wanted to get away from using a lot of cfls and go with led. my buddy says his 225 led panel is mine if I want it. my question is its only 14w would that be enough, please keep in mind only one plant at a time for personal use only thx

you can top auto's
i have topped alot of them and it helps yield most of the time but they stretch so if space is a issue dont do it

topped his auto mazar and it yielded 360 grams out of a 5 gal dwc under a 600w equivalent led
these are not the same auto's
that they were 10 years ago
if a grow guide has not been wrote in the last 3-5 years and quotes anything dj short or stitch wrote from ten years ago i wouldnt follow it to the letter

I totally understand and took ur advise. I didn't top my plant but did start the lst. wanna get away from the cfl with this new cabinet. got an option to get an led panel from a friend. its 225led but only 14 watts hes wanting bout 20bucks. only got 24 in space in height what do you guys think? is it a waste of so I will just stick with cfl thx

ive never heard of a 225 diode led only drawing 14w
thats really not that much
my led's are 150 w and like 50 something diodes so i dont know honestly i think cfl's would be better if you could control heat
i usually say you need 100w a plant but thats a rather small space
i use 68w ge 2700k cfl's they are about the size of a nerf football
and ive gotten by with one a plant and pulled a oz roughly
if you go the cfl route i would use more of a blue spec that would keep the stretch down probably

that's what I got going now is one under 2 cfls they are the 60w 5000k right now gonna go get some 2700k tomoro and add in there with it. im happy with whats going on and I should be able to keep the heat down with the 2 120mm fans I got. spent a little extra for the speed control kind

a stable auto is less prone to hermi
the only way to hermi a stable auto is chemically
if cutting or light or temps makes them hermi then its the genetics that did it

For 30 bucks Ibwould take it regardless if its a full spectrum or not! But if its not a full spectrum your gonna have an issue unless your buying nunerous LED panels in nunerous diffrent colors for diffrent stages of growing!! I started with a full spectrum and once flowering started I added 2 red LED panels 30each to my set up!! I have the full spec led set at 18/6 and the red leds stay on 24/0.

If its NOT A FULL SPECTRUM THEN WHATEVER IT IS THAT HE HAS NEEDS TO BE USED IN CONJUCTION WITH A FULL SPEC LED!!! THEY WONT GET THE PROPER LIGHTING NEEDED TO GRO BRO!!!!! THE lightvthat xomes out of my red led panels is not as much as 1 SINGLE LED ON MY FULL SPEC!!!
