First Autoflower Any Advice?

try it if it works for you and your space then roll with it
doesnt hurt to try
i had like 0 vertical space at my last place so i had to do what it took to yield
and i still could pull 2-3 oz like clock work from my plants in 3.5 gals
now im at the beginning of my new spot a few weeks into veg have over 40 square feet of floor space and 8' ceilings so i guess we will see what happens but i promise you this i wont be growing anything without LST a flat canopy is the key to yielding
unless your running vert but then its still a flat canopy just the other direction ;)

Thats what I see people saying but what chemicals and what amounts are you giving them in that would induce a plant to herm???? I mean unkess your going way off track and trying to be Mr Wizard I dont see why you would be growing to what just throw any and every fert and booster you can at the plant?? Buy a basil plant if thats what someone wants to do!!! From doing mass amounts of research for the past 5yrs ive mostly read that if the plants gonna herm it because it was gonna do it regardless if you gave it water or water and every chem possible. I mean some people just cANT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS i guess!!?

Yeah idk man, herm thing always throws me off. From what I've read they pretty much all carry the 'potential' to herm out as a survival mechanism...need to mate to reproduce, and without a mate sometimes you gotta just fuck yourself I guess -.- I've never seen a herm n I've treated some plants pretttty bad in the past...I try not to judge but truth be told I'm pretty hermaphobic.

I hear ya bro!! Tempted to sprout a seed and throw whatever at it but all thats gonna happen is sgunted growth, nute burn or its just gonna die and I tey to take pride in what im doing so just seems like a conplete waste of time, money, energy and effort!!?!

Im gonna get a few 5gallon buckets and drill a shitload of holes for drainage for the next round of plants. I have a bunch of SUPER AUTO SEEDS for the next round and ive got 5 seedlings of flash babylon and la diva going now that are about 25ish days behind my skunkmass and ww plants. The super autos grow a tad bit BIGGER then the reat and take a little more time so I want to give them the best possible medium that I can. I experimented with the babbylon and la diva and put them all in diffrent size pots to see what happens? 2ltr and 3ltr pots. Ive seen people grow descent autos out of red solo cups so shouldnt be all that bad!!?

yes in no way will a genetically stable auto herm from physical stress
without the use of chemicals
now dont get me wrong you may get a nanner or two from stressing the shit out of it
but in no way will it be full on hermi
and the odds of that happening are even pretty slim

super auto's is a out dated term unless the seeds are called super auto
many many many of the auto's out now a days can be harvested in 10 weeks or 14-16 weeks all strains will run that long almost all of them
they dont just fall over one day and die if they pass 8 weeks
alot of the misinformation that was spread about from 10 years ago was when auto's were marketed to be " stealthy "
almost all auto's now are " super auto's "

And what KIND OF STRESS are we talking about?? I mean it clearly says in every post on EVERY WEBSITE aroumd the WORLD do NOT TRANSPLANT YOUR AUTO SEEDLINGS!!! So are you beating and screaming at your plants?? Lmao Are people picking the plants up and carrying them around all day?? Turning the lights on/off every 30mins? I mean can you possibly do to herm the plant out by extreme stress?? Lol are they transplanting 10 to 15 times a week?? I dont get what these people are doing to ther plants!!?

silver thiosulfate
colloidal silver in the 50 + ppm range
gebberillic acid <~~~~ alot harder to work with then the other 2
all 3 of those will reverse a plant or a branch for fem seed production

I was thinking like overfeeding, deficiencies, transplanting, too much training, power goes out n lights are out for too long, too hot or too cold temps, pests, humidity etc...but ofc we try to avoid that shit with any plants, photo or auto

I think w/ something 'silver' you can force herm if you wanted to try n get seeds from an auto. can't remember what it is called

Ohhh ya im well awarw they dont fall over after 80 days!! Lol ;) and the given 60, 70, 80 day timelines are usually shorter them what is really needed anyway. And what I meant by suoer autos is strains that are BIGGER and run for atleast 100 days. Ive never grown ANY strains besides reg sized autos sooooo we shall see just how SUPER they are if at all!!?! But I will def keep everyone posted with updates and pics when fall comes around. I def am going to start switching over to photoperiod strains and just running a few autos.

that afghan kush ryder i posted with the lst and pinched stems and shoots the one with the dvd case bud
was one of 3 i started for the auto party cup contest
it was started in a party cup transplanted then lst'd on the main stalk and all side branches and then pinched on every branch
it was grown in less then perfect conditions temps at around 90 degree's F sometimes

if this doesnt make it clear how much stress they can take im not sure what will

what im getting at is they can all run for 100 days if you let them
if your fans are green the plant is still growing o_O

the way i see it i get a OZ a gal of medium roughly give or take a quarter or half oz but roughly a oz a gal of soil less blend
