Mothers have been basically neglected for over a week now, only thing done with them is watering, they are being allowed to grow out of control.

Ok day something :p

So i have been neglecting the mothers and they are have started to show it, signs of nute probs etc (nothing major).

So I figured it was time to crop my main mother to high hell so I will be able to take an un godly amount of clones in a week or so.

What the main mom looked like before cropping.

After cropping all main branches :p

Out of all the branches that were cropped 1 was snapped and tossed into the cloning tray & 1 was slightly snapped so i just tossed a - peice of b-tape on it :p hey it will be fine :)

ok so this is why you never neglect your mother plants :p 2x 26w 5500k's apparently decided that they were sick of hanging up and decided they were going to make a home inside my main mother :/ lol so i open the mother plants area up & wtf do i see but light comming out from the inside of my main mom rofl. The lights most likely fell a day or so ago and did a nice cooking job on around 35-40 shoots :p overall the plant is still in fine shape, All viable shoots that were in & directly around the area that the lights had called home for a few days were taken as cuttings. Shoot development deep inside the mothers canopy on the other hand are growing quite nicely :p lol :/ :p

INFO

The pic in the top post is of the 4x moms & the huge bowl of clones.

2x mothers have been removed from the area and replaced with 2x DIY Co2 Gen's. All ventilation within the area has been killed. Lets see what happens in a few days :p

INFO

The DIY Co2 Gen's are pretty slow but do kick out some Co2 when the area isn't vented or have a lot of air movement.

DIY Co2 Gen was made with

1 Two liter
2 Cups sugar
2 Cups warm water
1 TBSP Yeast
1 TBSP Baking soda

Mix 2 Cups water with 2 cups sugar in the 2 liter. Add 1 tbsp yeast & 1 tbsp baking soda. (DO NOT CAP YOUR 2 LITER LESS YOU WANNA HEAR BOOM!) .

Then just place the 2 liter in the area that you want to fill with Co2. Keep in mind that Co2 Production is rather slow but enough to make a constant slow flow of Co2. Area must not be exhausted or fan'd since this is home science co2 gen :p

This DIY Co2 Gen should last around a month or so.
Pics in a few days.

Hey I can't read through the whole thread right now, just first and last page, but I've grown a ton of Bubblelicious. The plant in my avatar is Bubblelicious. My biggest buds ever have come from this strain. There is a high variability seed to seed though. I grew five total seeds and got three females. Each was very different. They looked similar in color, structure, frostiness, etc, but the smells and flavors were very different. One was very sugary and sweet tasting. The second was VERY cheesy and took me completely by surprise. That's the pheno in my avatar and the pic below. But my favorite pheno was number three. It smelled like dog shit LOL. Sweet and stanky dog shit. But the smell was so strong and dank it was unbelieveable. I grew many clone generations of each of these phenos and people I shared the finished buds with didn't even know they were the same strain. The dog shit was by far the most popular. I've moved on to new things now but the Bubblelicious will always have a special place in my heart.

Hopefully you return to the thread so you can read this :p

Thanks for checkin the thread btw, I don't blame you at all for checking first and last pages :p the thread is long and boring :p This thread was basically to Picture document an entire seed to mom veg cycle of the strain. Also doing the same with the flowering. Of course I started with an SOG but due to space & apparent lack of a stabilized flowering time the sog quickly turned SCROG lol :p

I got a quick few questions about the strain and hopefully you can give me some good info cuz this strain is driving me nuts :p lol

What was your avg rooting time for clones with this strain? (I have both sativa & indica pheno's) If i clone in dirt or rockwool and use a dome clones take anywhere from 15-20+ days to root (wich is insane. im used to a max 10day turn around on clones :p ) In a bubbler it takes around 10 days to root.

Did you have a bitch of a time rooting these clones? (well its not hard, but i haven't been able to dial in a fast rooting method for this strain yet :( )

Also did the strain like to flower at around the same time? some clones took around 20+ days to even start to flower after they were put into 12/12. (The strain just seems finicky with rooting & flowering).

Any info you have on this strain with flowering times & rooting methods etc would be greatly appreciated. (Sometimes ya gotta ask, trial and error gets tiresome :p lol)

I use peat plugs and a bubbler to root and I didn't notice anything unusual about the rooting time with either of the three phenos. They weren't the fastest rooters or the slowest. I have strains as well that I struggle to clone (Trainwreck) but this wasn't one of them. They all seemed to start flowering in the normal time period as well. However, finishing was a different story all together. The cheesey pheno would take almost two weeks longer than the others to finish up at 11 weeks. The other thing I remember about this strain was that they were very picky with nutes. All my other strains were thriving but it was tough to ever find the right balance with the Bubbs. Hope that helps.

Its pretty funny cuz i got pic links to your buds on one of these pages, well either this thread or the flowering thread cant remember. but i know i got the pic of the nice cola next to the ps controller :p lol. :)

anyways... its extra info to add to the brain about this strain so def thank you :) +rep :p

I am thinking of these are going to take up to 11 weeks to finish too. A lot of diversity between the 4 mothers i had, i just got rid of 2 of the mothers that i didn't care for the way there clones were budding :p

Its funny because for me it has been nute friendly :p

Still can't wait for it to be done and to try out a different strain.

I've been looking around for something that has appeal but also something with a high thc% but just haven't found anything that has really caught my eye :(

Anyone have any suggestions? (No autoflower types please. I like to grow my moms :p )

Yes I have a great recommendation from you. Check out BC Roadkill from Cannacopia. You can get it at Hemp Depot. It's what I've been growing since the Bubblelicious. Amazing strain in smell, flavor, potency, and bag appeal. The best part is their beans are very affordable ($35 for ten beans). These are beautiful plants that turn deep purple with black tiger striping to the leaves late in flower. The smell and taste is very strong like skunky musty mothball granny's attic dank. I'm also growing their Bubba Kush X Deep Chunk but the yields on the Roadkill are a lot better.

Pics from today. The main mom was cropped on tons of top shoots. Area's temp is stable for having all air circulation and ventilation killed. Seems to be the DIY Co2 Gens are doing something.

The 2 remaining mothers have been moved to a different area so that I can move the flowering plants to the mothers old area.

The mothers new area was initially being created for a different grow long long ago and was never completed.

Main mother was moved from a 1g ice cream container to a 5g bucket. (Root bound would be an understatement, made a small X slice across the bottom to promote new root growth).

Moved 2nd mom from 1/2 gal pail to main moms old ice cream tub. 2nd mom was so root bound it was almost comical. (2nd mom has been grown in the 1/2 gal pail since transplant from peat pot months ago :p Sliced an X on bottom to promote new root growth)

Both mothers roots appeared to be very healthy.

The mothers could have continued to live in the containers they were in but I am going to push the main mom to produce as many new shoots as possible. Within the next week or so the amount of cfl's being used is going to dramatically increase.

Atleast 10x 26w 5300k cfl's will be added to the area within the next few days. When they are added the mothers will both be cropped beyond recognition. Pics in a few days after cfl's have been added to area. Both before and after cropping images will be taken.
