First CFL Grow

Picked up rockwool cubes for when i start cutting clones, but that probably wont be for a while. LST will begin next week probably, the 4 set of leaves is coming in, topping at the 5th.

Hey man lookin good for how ghetto it is lol! dont worry about no one posting, unless you have something special going on not many people stop by. Anyway ya for now you have enough lights. but once they get bigger you will either need to surround them with lights or put them in a scrog (cfl light penetration is shitty as fuck). i grow in a little cabinet and let me tell you it isn't fun one they start to get bigger and you need to work around them. Go make your self a tent, its alot easier to make sealed and keep light in then a box, And you'll not have as many heat issues. good luck with the search for something to grow in. Subscribed!!

Picked up Fox farm OF today from the local hydro store, some soil for starting seeds, and a new 5 gallon bucket for my biggest plant. Going to wait for that soil to dry out, then try to transplant just the plant and not any topsoil. Going to put that plant into the 5 gallon bucket with FF OF.

Going to start new seeds in the rock wool, then when the roots start to poke through, put them in the potting soil, then transplant them to the FFOF. Still not ready for high grade seeds, but i decided to start with sour diesel :3

Oh btw, up to 300 CFL watts.

Assuming my soil is completely dried out today, I may try to transplant my biggest plant into the new home depot bucket with FF OF

I can see the 5th set of leaves coming in, and i'm going to top them tomorrow/friday when I can get a firm grasp on them. Transplanted into FoxFarms, and it went well. Let the growth continue!

topped today, starting LST in 2 days.

Going to start posting pictures every 3-4 days, since no one is really showing interest, but that's fine. I won 100 bucks on a scratch off ticket, so I can order my new seeds/lights!

And with a flip of a coin my girlfriend decided she wanted nirvana's.... ICE! which seems very nice. Ice Fem'd becase i'm only going to do 2 plants at a time with the same set up/# of lights.

Oh and for flowering I'm going to hang 2 power strips over each light with 4 - 42w 27's and 1 - 27 27w, and 1 - daylight 27w, equaling 13,900 lumens per plant!

yo whats up dude, looking alot better than last time i was here... I grew nirvana Ice for my first grow.. check bellow for pics on the last page.. Its fucking amazing. Im smoking the last bowl of it as i write this.. That was with just 400 watts.. Now I got 1200 watts in my little 10 sq foot closet

oof! 1200, that's insane! I'll be working with close to 450 here shortly, still haven't shelled out for a HPS. Although I visited the hydro shop a few blocks away and I liked what I saw!

And the only reason they're looking better is because of your kind words of encouragement! got me on the straight path to growing, thanks man.

cool dude glad i got through to ya ill sub. to this thread and help out when i can, but id def. recommend ice, some of the craziest, strongest weed ive ever smoked in my life

trying to encourage them to stretch, so I can get the leaves outside of the grow containers. Flowering should begin on April 23rd, but if they don't get bigger, I can always push that back. Also, I think I fimmed, not topped. (pic 2)

Yeah, it's deff been through a lot, 2 transplants, and got topped, for the last 2 days it didn't grow, but i just noticed today that it started growing again.

I'm going to move all the lights and plants underneath the shelf they're currently on, and probably throw some mylar along the front.

good idea, towels dont reflect light best possible thing you can do in ur situation is reflect the light to the best of your ability..

I'm probably going to plant the smallest of the 3 plants outside, and go with a powerstrip with outlets and y spilters, and LST the big one so it's even with the other plant.

still too short to LST
might push back flowering by 2 weeks, making it a total of 6 weeks veg.
