thank you! the only original plant is the one in orange, the other 2 are new plants. and thank you for preflower help! since i'm pretty sure I got them from hermie weed, I'm thinking they're feminized already?

I'll try to start them today. I'm using some metal clothes hangers like this guy did http://forum.grasscity.com/advanced-growing-techniques/438408-lbhs-4-way-lst-tutorial-w-topping-sub-tutorial.html

looked everywhere for metal clothes hangers, couldn't find them. Just gonna get wire from homedepot. they love me there.

Funny story about that! this grow is going on at my girlfriends house. They're both very cool (her mom and my GF smoke, me and her dad don't). Her mom knows about the grow, and is cool (she's getting half the harvest)... her dad doesn't. Last week he told me that he used to sell, then while having a cigarette, he tells me he wants to move to Puerto Rico to grow weed on a giant field. Then he took a seed from the ashtray, and put it in a pot outdoors. That was like, 2 weeks ago. So while he was at work monday, we put the smaller plant where he planted the seed, and today he comes running in going LOOK LOOK! THE PLANT GREW!


other 2 plants are staying indoors, going to be flowered on April 23rd (might change) under 6 42w bulbs, and 2 27w daylights.

Got some wire hangers, FINALLY! 8 days til flower, maybe ordering ICE tomorrow, unless nirvana has something good on it's daily sale.

well i'm going nute free, am i still safe? can i like, reverse LST and use the coat hangers to hang the leaves from, keeping them off the ground?

nah man figure something out.. its not good for leaves to be touching soil no matter what.. I dunno what u mean but it may work. btw you will need nutes at some point and there are nutes in all soils otherwise plants wouldnt grow..

like, instead of using clothes hangers to pull the plant down, use string/wire to pull the leaves up, off the soil. i'll rig something up tomorrow. still trying to encourage stretching but the damn plant wants to stay short.

Damn Broke ya sure turned your first grow around. Good Job man. Your GF an her mom will be proud. That is to funny switching that pot out to fool her dad.

Are you using the clothes hangar to V the wire an hang it on a branch? I once used some hemp string an fishing weights to hang... but that grow grew erect. I was going to say that one could use the inside of potato chip bags for reflection to save $$$ but ya picked up some mylar.

Thanks man! Turned it around because of you guys! I don't have anything on the branches, just the main cola, just below where I topped.
I seriously want to heavily LST this girl, make her spiral all the way around the pot.

I like your enthusiasm and progression man, keep it up. Check out my grow if you can I feel like you and I are very similar. I started off thinking I knew what I was doing and I didn't know enough about lights. I think I got enough lights now for my 1 plant but it grew slow as hell so far because it was only under 1 light. It should shoot up like a mofo now I hope. Im wondering if my cabinet is big enough for a 400 watt hps that would be at the very top end of the lumens/sqft ratio and I dont think I have enough ventilation power. Maybe 250, idk. At anyrate, you could maybe do a cabinet like mine. I made it with a buddy of mines help for pretty cheap.

I snipped one little branch that was smooshed in the ground... other than that, all the branches are out of soil! i think tomorrow before I water, i'm going to take the plant out, put more soil in, and then put the plant back in, so that the level of the soil is almost equal to the rim of the plant. Next grow, i'm def going to let them veg longer in red cups, since putting 1 week old plants in a big ass 5 gallon bucket is just a waste.

nice, just try not to mess with it too much while this small, that things still got tons of growing to do, you dont want to shock it..
