How they doing bro? I know everyone on here hates pics with lights on but atm I have no way of taking one without it on. Looking good tho, smells even better View attachment 4945380
Looking good! Mine are doing pretty well too. Installed a second clip fan for some extra air flow. Starting to think about when I should flush the tank and run with no nutes for the final 2 weeks. I think I'm still a week or 2 away from that.

I started flower on June 11th, so I just started week 6. What's the normal range, typically like 8-10 yeah? Haven't been looking at the tricomes, can you do that with a regular magnifying glass?

I start counting from when I start seeing lots of pistols that was the 6th of June this is 9 week strain according to breeder but it will be 10 11 12 just depends on her. Does your mag glass have a small more powerful lens? Mine has the big one then down the handle is a little small one that if I zoo. Phone cam in all the way looking thru the small one you can see them. You could try that. I have a hard time telling between clear and cloudy trics so I look mainly for amber. If you wait long enough the plant will kinda tell you. It's so hard to explain but no new straight white pistols and the buds will have a tint to them ( I guess from the amber trics) and the look ready lol

Got it! Found a small magnifying glass around the place that seems to get the job done. I think the trichomes are still clearish..?

Yeah I see lots of clear and lots of white hairs. What strain is that again(my bad lol weed)
CB Dutch Treat

Azura Haze and Amnesia Haze make a winning combination in this sativa-dominant medical strain. Spicy and piney, this pain-reliever will deliver a high that is both energetic and euphoric. A good strain for day use as it helps the user feel happy, creative and focused. Robust plants can reach 4 feet or more, with long, slender leaves. Abundant light-green flowers mature in 9 to 10 weeks.

lol the one I have outside is now nearly 6 feet tall! Go Debbie!!!

haha yeah she is. Will def be interesting to see how she turns out.

Glad you’ve been enjoying the time lapses. It’s a cool way to document the grow process.

You think there’s any point in topping Debbie? May not be necessary on an outdoor plant since there’s no height restrictions.

As long as you don't care how tall she gets I'd just let her do her thing

Ah that sucks.. yeah I’ve heard it’s best to stay away from brass w/ hydro. Does it screw with the PH?

From what I've read it has a chemical reaction with the stuff in the nutes. I'm gonna research if I can find a replacement impeller that isn't brass

This topic came up on the forums I frequent. The poster was what I would label a "very experienced grower" who had done a fair amount of work on the plumbing for his grow. Some time afterward, the grow was hit by something that he couldn't pin down. He thought the issue had a chemical basis so he jumped through a lot of hoops to fix things but it took a while to figure it out because it took a few months for things to go south.

The culprit was a brass fitting at the bottom of a tank, res, or some such that was in the plumbing upstream from the plants. He swapped it out and that cleared up the issue.

interesting! I actually have a brass fitting at the bottom of my tank res too. It’s an elbow joint that holds the site glass in place to keep an eye on the water level. Maybe that’s why my PH tends to drop over time..

Awesome, plants are looking nice and healthy! Good luck with the harvest

I left town for a full week, just got back. My top off reservoirs were empty.. the PH was pretty far off too. Filled my tanks and adjusted the PH when I got back.

The indoor girl, Sandy, is gettin pretty close to harvest. Any day now I’d imagine. Trichomes are mostly cloudy. What’s weird is I’m seeing some foxtailing. Might have been the swing in PH while I was gone? Was at 3.4 when I measured it after the trip. Leaves near the top of the canopy have changed colors, some yellowing and purpling. Might be related to a water level drop while I was gone, though I hear color changes in the leaves close to harvest isnt that unusual.

Now Debbie on the other hand is growing like a straight up psycho. Come September she could be 12 feet tall LMAO . Some new pictures below:
