That green stuff is algae.
You still should cover your medium, even if it is hydroton.
Any kind of moisture will be a breeding ground with that a light helping out.
I use the white tops made for the net pots. Gives some reflection back up to the under leaves too.

I thought so yeah but its still in the dome .. can I cut some of the rapid rooter plug to rid the algae before i transfer it to the rez?

You can always try.
Just watch for roots.
Hey Flo I will be posting some pics of my girls later, I left my camera at work yesterday or else I would have posted them by now.. I think I have nute burn , lowered the PPM yesterday its now at 420-450 ... Anyways will post some pics for some advice.. thanks again flo! Also how crucial is the 1 Watt per gal theory ?? I have 25 total reservoir gallons and I am using a 110 liter / 112 watt air pump ..

Look forward to some pics, bro !
As far as the 1w/gal, never heard any solid info as to why that is.
Just ppl saying/writing it.
I'm dispelling that "myth" with my 5 watt, 4 port Air Pump from Sunleaves and PetCo.
I have one of each brand, but they are the same and rated the same too, for each 12gal Igloo cooler.
9L/min or 140GPH is what they are rated.
So my 0.5 watt per gallon (10gal in rez) is doing outstanding.
Plants are proof for any nay-sayers ! LMAO

Here are some pics of the plants I think they have nute burn.. I lowered the PPM down to 420-450 using PH water .. They are on 18/6 now and besides the little leaf damage they look to be doing fine, what do you guys think ? Nute burn ????

Good looking out Weedler! I already have a nice air cool hood just need to switch to a 250W Ballast just have to decide if I want to veg next time using a MH or keep it T5..
I did both... I started them under T5 for about 2 weeks then switched to MH I'm using MH for 2 weeks then switching to HPS. Figured I'll cover all my bases and see where it lands me :D

They are fine.
Keep the ppm's around 400 for a week + until they start getting some noticeable regular growth again between light cycles.
Watch them. They'll tell you when they're hungry.

Ok cool thanks , I bought some foliage spray by General Hydroponics just in case..Also FYI on that rapid rooter that had algae I cut it off last night real carefully using a exacto knife so all is well. Thanks again!

Never used Diamond Nectar and only foliar fed my soilless grows.
When I did it was with PBP Liquid Karma or a mild brewed tea solution.
Careful not to over-feed and burn them.
Excellent for it's health benefits !

The hydro store guy said to use it on your plants right when they get light or right before you put them to dark ... I will try it .

Anyone have any experience using Floralicious Plus???
I did my first reservoir change yesterday , everything went smoothand this time I added some floralicious plus to my reservoir following General Hydroponics Nutrient Calculator everything went cool just was curious on feed back from growers who used this stuff before.
The only thing that was kind of odd is that my R/O Water is always at 6.7-7.0 PH even with the normal nutes. This time when I added the Floralicious Plus it took my PH straight to 5.8-5.9 using no PH UP or PH DOWN, plus it made the reservoir water darker.

Nothing.
Looks more Indica dominate.
The leaf pattern will change once it gets a bit older.
My Indica dom Monkey, with all the resin, started like that too.
