I got them home put ‘em under a 96W T5 18on/6off.
Treated them w 1Tbs Azamax/1gal water, folar and drench (Don’t know what hose girls are trying to bring home lol)
When dry I watered w 1drop Superthrive/1gal water and 2 tsp Liquid Karma

I transplanted them into: all 3gal containers.
Har-Soil (FF Ocean Forest) Will start feeding with Earth Juice’s 3 part nutes in week…3???

Cd-Coco and will be using ANJJ nutes on her as well
(Hasn’t been looking good. I think I burned here with nutes or did not properly flush my Coco. Last Mon I leached 4 gals of 6PH 250ppm water and i was getting a run off of 6.7PH and 260ppm. Then fed with 5.8PH and 810ppm, not subtracting my water ppm. She’s turning all yellow and 3 fan leaves turned crispy and fell off… Need advice on this one… Looks like a lot of nute deficiencies to me, but prob not...

10/24 I flushed 4 more gal threw it 5.5-5.8 - all the run off has been signifantly higher, around 7.

This has been quite exciting so far. Having these same strains in organic soil and hydro is quickly showing me the potential benefits and downers of each, and for each plant. I had some root rot problems in all my DWC units but,
I have quickly overcome it with H2O2, a fan, and 3 X a day frozen water bottle.

Very nice set up. Have you grown in DWC/Soil/Coco before? Are you sure your roots are rotted and not stained form nutes?

I see you are using a 600 watt HPS are you flowering or veggin? Reason I ask cause if you are veggin that tent is going to be jammed with all those plants especially with 4 DWC going.

This is my first Med Cannabis grow/ first grow. Though I do love plants and have had DWC/drip system peppers and many outdoor gardens. The roots were defiantly rotted out. I flushed them with 1/2cup H2O2 to a gal of water and in a day and a half I had some new white roots and the old were slimy and breaking away.

I just cut all the older dead roots off last night and bumped ‘em up to a transition feed… There in Veg. I’ma take clones today or tomorrow and begin flowering perhaps friday. As most people do at first, I think I have underestimated their growth capabilities. The Harlequin is a monster and is around 14-15in tall, while the Mendo Purps (2nd tallest) is around 10-11in tall. I’ve been playing with the idea of topping or bending the Har… any ideas?

This is no doubt the coolest thing I’ve ever dabbled with!

I was at the hydro shop the other day and picked up some goodies: Roots Excelurator, Ionic PK Boost, and GH Floralicious. The 2 later ones I’m still figuring out how and when I will be supplementing with.

I’m trying to do 3 strains organic soil, and the same 3 again (in relatively the same environment) hydro w chem ferts. AFTER a good month or so cure I will begin to judge each system based on the final meds. It’s gunna be like my own mini cannabis cup lol. Too excited!

Yeah I just LSTd and Sup Crop'd one of my plants (Pre-98 x Grape Kush) today. I love LSTing plants! I try to maintain a nice even canopy of buds. There are a couple good threads on here for LSTing and Sup Cropping. I recommend you give it a try on one of your plants.

I wish I had some chee$e to get that Roots Excel....that shit is amazing! Watch how much your roots exploded after using that!

I’m astonished at how much my roots have grown in the past 3 days! That roots excel is way pricey, but like i was just talking to the hydro shop dude about, if your gonna always be veging it’s worth it.

That LST Blue Dream came about in quite a funny way. I had it in DWC and thought I saw PM on some of the leafs. So, I made the decition that she had to go, but couldn’t work up the gumption to pull her. Finally while looking at the, what I thought to be PM leaf I sprand at her and snapped her down and pulled her out. Then I had ‘em both on the counter and call a buddy who advised to keep ‘em segregated and treat ‘em w Azamax. 10 days and they still didn’t show PM again, if that is what it was. So, I brought ‘em back up the other night. I was reading some stuff about root-hormone being used on plants in the advanced fourms. I applyed some GreenLight Root Hormore to the broken stem last night - I got before pic’s I’ll post this eve. Can’t wait to see what happens.

My Harlequins are like 16in and I start flowering tomarrow. Oh boy, they are gunna be fun to keep under control I bet… especially in this 4x4x7 tent .

I’m gunna look for some good info on sup cropping and maybe give it a try on one of the girls hellz yeah!

Are you or have you Top'd any of your plants?

Can you post a pic of the Blue Dream that you think has PM. You dont want to leave that, battle it and get rid of PM. I would also recommend that you pull all your plants out and wipe down and clean your tent out. Especially if the plant had PM in there. How are your tent temps and rH%?

A plant can be infected with PM for a week before it shows any signs of PM....I use Serenade and it work very good and is good for Organic Gardens.

I haven’t topped any and wont on this grow. First grow... I wanna experiment a lil with grow mediums and nutes, but I’ma save grow techniques and methods till grow #2. Which I’’v already insured w 5 clones a day ago

The PM Blue Dream ddidn’t have enough white on it to get a clear picture. Its been 13 days since I moved them out of the room and hit ‘em w Azamax… Still no signs of PM. They’ve been back in w the other girls for a day now. I do not wanna battle with PM!!! Though I question my over zealous first-timers judgment that it was PM… wish I had gotten a pic. Oh, and when I moved ‘em out the tent and tools did get a major cleaning with H2O2 - thx BKB!

UPDATE:
Began flowering last night! I’m going to try 11on/13off (heard that it can increase quantity and speed of flowers while reducing ur bill)

Temps/Hum
Light on 70-80
Light off 60-70 Is going below 65 at night okay? maybe 60ish?
Hum - for the first 2 weeks it was good at 45-60% But now it’s too low 20-45% I mixed up some Liquid Karma at 3/4 strength yesterday and gave ‘em a folar feed, but it did little for my rooms humidity. I think I’m doing to discontinue the LK in the spray and just start spraying them 5 or so times a day till the humidity goes back up?????

Roots up date…. that RE is like whoa! Only there has been some black algae looking stuff getting hung up on some of the roots. Slimy and comes right off, roots under it are pearly white though. Res temps way too high, around 79ish almost all the time… tried frozen water bottles and a fan on the res tops. Can’t freeze bottles fast enough to keep up with the melting ones….

Looking good man. Just beware of stretching during the 1st few weeks of Flowering. You do have a lot of plants in that tent and it will get very packed soon. You might have to do some LST to control flowering stretch. I always try to shoot for even canopies so one plant doesnt block and lighting to others. Those are fairly large plants in your DWC and they are going to prolly out grow your soil ones. Just giving some advice bro cause those babies are going to stretch and I have the same size tent as you. Have you ever used or using Bushmaster?

Do you have a temp gauge in your res to check your res temps? I would also recommend getting some Hygrozyme to take care of the slimmy shit. It works real well.

LOL I look in there every morning an think to myself, “Oh shit, it’s gunna be a jungle. How am I gunna reach that or change the water in this… hmmmm”

Its crazy how uniform the grow has been from strain to strain. Both Har’s are like 17in, Mp’s 13in and the bubba 10in; we’re talking both soil and hydro of each. The Har I’m going to come up with a plan tonight to keep it in balance with the others. LST most likely. I thinking LST the tall ones and raise the shorter ones with books.

I haven’t used Bushmaster. I got recommended Ionic PK Boost and GH Floralicious from my local hydro shop. I need to look into the best time to start supplementing them and get the girls changed out tomorrow with a light full flower nute mix.

I finally picked up a thermometer the other day lol… I know skimping in the wrong areas! Res temps pretty much match my room temps… after the lights have been on all day the res temps are around 77-79.

I’m gunna look into that Hygrozyme and maybe swoop on it when my wallet allows, we’ll see.

Bushmaster is something that will help with the stretching...kind of like keeping from stretching too much. I personally never used it cause I love the stretch. LOL

Just finished week 1 flower and all the ladies are looking quite nice. The hydro Bubba’s roots don’t look all that well, little brown - might be cuz of the Roots Excel I’ve been told. It was the only one in hydro I used it on this weeks. The hydro Bubba also seemed to "top itself” and is now growing to main stalks. Too kushy!


Clones are now a week and a day… Checked 3 for roots and nothing as far as the readygrow plugs are concerned.


Started training the Chernobyl! Oh! I noticed that the Chernobyl, despite being under 24hr light is showing sex/flowering. You can see that there are a couple pistils showing.

The Root hormone I put on to the stem of the broken Blue Dream is now all swollen. The plant seems to be doing better and is shooting new growth up in a couple places. I put some more root hormone onto the stem and a little on one of the branches. Can’t wait to see what happens!

No, despite pouring gal’s at a time of 5.4 ph’ed water I was still getting around 7.8 run-offs. Had to take drastic measures; chose to take it out of the coco and get her into some Miracle Grow Seed Starting Soil. She still doesn’t look so good, but is defiantly perking up now that she can get some nutes.

Strange its doing that, maybe your nutes have a buffer for pH in them???

Buffer for PH? Like they should always stabilize to a certain PH? I’m using AN Jungle Juice. After pouring ‘em my mix usually is around 6.3 without PH down. ???

I dont know, thats why I was asking....I am sure its going to take a few days for the plant to settle in the soil.
