Just an update on my ladies.........well, at least 3 should be!

I separated the Haze x Skunk plants in photo program so you can see how massive they are. The 3 small ones are northern lights. All plants were grown using LST.

Also, my light was around 25-27inches above plants. I have moved it down to just 18inches. I also started giving bloom nutes.....about 1/2 strength.

Check out the pics:
1. whole tent with all 5 plants
2. massive Haze x Skunk #1
3. massive Haze X Skunk #1 (different plant)

Thanks man,
Yeah, all plants are in individual 8in pots.
At first, I was using wire hangers to tie/hold it down................now, I have to use string and tape it to outside of pot.

This thing should really produce!!!

Update: 2 males, 3 females

Came home for lunch today to let my dogs out and guess what I find............BALLS on two of my plants(Haze x Skunk) see pics.

At least one northern lights plant is already showing pistils. see pics.

Now that I had to remove the males, my tent looks kind of bare and makes me wish I would have vegged the northern lights another week or two!:wall:

Pics:
1. Balls on 1st Haze x Skunk
2. Balls on 2nd Haze x Skunk
3. Pistils on Female northern lights
4. Before I chopped the 2 males down..........just so you can see what LST can do.

My exhaust at the top of my tent is a 6in. duct fan that I purchased locally for about $35. I put a 6 x 4 reducer on one end(sucking end) and then stuck that end thru my 4in. hole in tent...............Sits right on top and provides excellent passive air circulation.

I am exhausting my light with a 4in duct fan that I purchased at HTG for about $35. I also had to add ducting from my floor vent into tent(2x3x5) because that 400w gets mighty hot in a small area.

2 full weeks into flowering.

Sorry, some of the pictures are big and a little dark. Hard to get the exact lighting with a 400W HPS around. :-P

I have been using Tiger bloom and Big bloom. In between nute waterings, I also add molasses in my PHed water..........about 1 table spoon per gallon.

I will probably double the molasses on one of them in the 2nd month of flowering just see if it makes a difference.

Of course any comments or advice are always welcome!

Oh and 1 last thing. Can I continue to tie down the buds in flowering to expose lower buds or to even out the cola height???

Thanks for stopping by!

Just updating my journal with end of 3rd wk flowering pics.

Coming along very nicely!

I appreciate and respect your opinion on molasses, but I have read enough posts that say good things about it, that I feel confident in using it.

Hopefully around a month to go. Seed company says 6-8weeks. But the buds are looking small. I hope they really start packing on some size soon!

Update:
Finished 4th week of flowering this weekend and these pics were taken Saturday. I think I have a Mg problem, so I barely watered(since I already watered them that morning) with 1/4 tps of magnesium(epsom salts) to 1/2 gallon of water. Checked them today and there was no change, but based on the numerous pictures I have, the problem was only noticeably progressing weekly.

Hope it will not hurt overall yield. :?:

My buds seem to be small compared to what I have seen. What do you guys think..........ok for end of week 4?

Today is almost 6.5 weeks. Ministry of Cannabis website says that northern lights takes 8 weeks, but I have heard that it flowers early.

All in all, I hope to have less than 2 weeks!

Should be getting G13 Haze from Attitude seeds this week and that will be my next grow!

Hey man,
Yes, I like the tent, but have not compared it to others......functionally, or first hand, anyway. I have had no problems with my tent, at all.

Heat was my biggest issue, but I think its because I went cheap on the exhaust fans.(damn duct fans) Should have went within an inline!! I also had my light about 25" away from tops of plants.

I think if you buy the correct fans, you should not have a problem and the 4in. should be enough. If in doubt, go higher in size or cfm.....IMO. Also, be sure you have good circulation inside. Couple of $5 4in. fans from wallyworld work perfect.
