Hey so I never had a grow room before. I worked in some and did some outdoors. After chatting with the big guys in this game I finally decided to make the jump and open my place.

The area:
600sf-ish
Garage mezanine

Lights:
22 x 650w LED LM301b with osram 660 IR, 8 bars per light, 2544 LEDs per fixture, Meanwell 650w driver, 3000K color temp

HVAC:
5 tons goodman AC
10 x 16 inch fans (wind devil or something)
Dehum is China made claims 280 pints a day at 80% (so not AHAM), we'll see about that
Co2 will be kept at 800-1200 ppm during day time

Grow medium:
12 flood trays 4x8 on plastic pallets
8gal buckets in coco
Drip fed from a 1000L water tank outside the grow room (for temp)

Nutes:
Probably will start with Remo and move on to Jack's once I'm not a total noob anymore

I do bloom only, I get the clones as ''teens'' in 4x4 rockwoll that I will then put in the coco buckets, they're about 2 feet tall and ready to flip when I get them, not set on strain yet, I have plenty of choice.

Any tips or comments are greatly appreciated

@THT If environmental conditions are in check there is no risk of mold, even if they are 2L bottle sized dense buds.

Here’s some greenhouse buds, the first pic was harvested a bit early to make room. The plant looked quite nice before chopping but after drying it became a bit airy for my liking. The buds weren’t terrible per say but you can see how much improvement 1-2 weeks extra can make in terms of density. Breeder descriptions are almost always incorrect when it comes to flowering time as well.

Totally with you. Given this is not a fully dialed in setup, and its pretty likely that all conditions will not be perfectly in check, I just wanted to make sure someone brought it up.

@canope , have you noticed any seeds? wanting to confirm if those calaxys are swollen without seeds, @NukaKola I agree with you but he does have a good amount of swell, depending on density of those, id be very concerned about rot pushing it 4 weeks - but then again that's just me.
No seeds. I’ll keep updating with pics every few days, I too find there’s still alot of white hairs

edit: the buds are super dense compared to my buddies running under HPS at same stage

Not quite there yet, but will probably harvest early because I have a botrytis issue on 2 plants. I chopped them off already and threw them away. Looking to add 12000 btu of AC and a bigger/better dehu for the next run. I sure did learn a whole lot on this first run, midlew, mites, botrytis, short plants. Next run is starting on septembre 14th. I’ll update with my yield in 10-12 days. Cheers y’all

Awesome setup.
Awesome room.
Awesome grow.
Thanks for taking the time to show us your setup and grow.
It's obvious that you have spent a lot of time doing your research, and it seems to be paying off for you, even if this is your first grow.
Continued good luck, and I hope your harvest goes well.
Cheers,
WillieP

Awesome job dude. Im also a fellow first time grower. Just about halfway through second run.

Wanted to ask about your lights. Was looking to switch from hps. How did you find them over all? I noticed you said you run ac, did it get that hot? And it seems you know others is the biz. How did these lights compare with theres? Thanks and gl on next run
