First Grow - What are these in the "Bud"

Hi all, so I learnt a ton on this first grow - I tried doing a DWC tub with 3 plants with aquaone curtain for bubbles and ending up adding an additional pump with two air stones as the roots didn't look so happy (brownish) One plant had an amazing thick root structure and ended up being the best plant but the other two didn't fare so well. I should say they all suffered a transplant shock and I won't make that mistake again. I made a PH error towards the end which really sucked as well as some heat stress surprisingly as I thought had adequate exhausting but it was a warm day and I guess the ambient temps went up. Another learning curb was taking clones, I also was unable to keep my clones alive even though I felt like I followed the guides perfectly, they did start to form roots but never really grew.

Anyway sorry for the ramblings, I managed to cut my losses so to speak and Harvest what I did have - the Trichomes looked good and the pistols had turned amber. So after hanging, trimming and now curing. I have noticed most of my "buds" are airy/loose which is a shame in itself and definitely will need to learn more for the next grow on how to get dense fat buds. My question is: What do you think these little sacs are? did the plant turn Hermie? I haven't found any seeds. (Sorry that's not true. In my trimming I did find ONE seed!) but yeh in these "buds" no seeds, but these little pouches seem like stamen? THANKS happy growing :)

DWC tub - clayballs
Veg grow - 130w CFL

What your looking at is a calyx... The female sexual organ of the cannabis plant and where growth starts.

ahhh ok thanks! I definitely need to do some more planning before my next attempt. I just received some fantastic strain (seeds) so don't want to waste them . Although we are heading into summer now, I might have to wait, don't want to lose them to heat.
