high everyone. :weed:
i have finally started my first grow after a long time of waiting :wall:
i am growing 3 feminized seeds (the 3 on the right) which are diesel, powerkush, and black mamba from front to back. the remaining 5 are from regular white russian seeds.
i am using a 4 ft 8 bulb t5 fluorescent setup (cool) for my seedlings which will then go under a 1000 watt agrolite (hps bulb with added blues) for the rest of the grow. the reflector i will be using is a magnum xxxl 6 inch air cooled reflector. i have my seedlings in 16 oz green see through cups so i can see the roots though i know it is bad.. they are in a 8 ft x 4 ft x 7 ft grow tent. i have a homemade co2 generator which i got from the guide on this site, with rubber tubing coming out the top and into the middle cup (filled with water) at an angle to prevent siphoning. the purpose of the water cup is to tell that it is still releasing co2 and to raise RH slightly (a little idea i came up with). i placed the water/co2 cup in the middle to hopefully distribute co2 evenly among the canopy. i posted a pic of my smallest plant (which sprouted late) and my biggest plant. most of them are about as big as the biggest one. they are one week and two days since i planted them.

as it says in the title, this is my first grow. i have read alot on this site but am in no way experienced. Comments and advice would be appreciated :-P

Lookin nice and fat so far man! Your grow space sounds massive - but if you get more than 3 girls from those WR seeds, you'll be glad for the extra room! I'm watching - show us what you got - White Russian is 'da bomb' from what I hear, great medicinal strain. :leaf:

pics taken yesterday, they were 17 days old. the roots have reached the bottom of the cups and i am going to transplant soon. i am going to end up with 5 gallon pots and was wondering.. should i transplant them directly into 5 gallon pots? i also have some leaf paling and curling and was wondering what the cause could be? i just gave them 1/4 strength grow nutes.

awesome grow, how do those t5 work for you? have you grown under them before? Were the results good?

also, those cups are transparent, you might want to foil them up to protect the root system from any light...IMO

The pale leaves could be from them being hungry? Are you giving them nutes yet? When the lower leaves get yellow like that its usually because the plant is sucking nitrogen from the lower leaves.

The poster above makes a good point. Gotta keep those roots light proof.

this is my first grow, but they're working great. and i know its bad if its transparent =/ but i like to see the roots hit the bottom.. speaking of which i am about to transplant them. would it be ok to transplant them straight to 5 gallon pots?

i have just started giving them nutes because i thought the same thing. by the way are those leaves considered nodes? the single leaves that come out of the cotyledons?
