My thoughts exactly.
The cup will probably only yield 7g dry.. if that. The 1gal pot however looks like I'm gonna get a solid zip out of it.
It's top heavy like a mf. She is 29" tall from the soil. The pot is only about 9" tall  Gonna have to strap a couple bamboo's on her to keep that baseball bat stable. The lower branches on it are the size of the colas on the mother. <-- Me staring at it.
Baseball bat LOL

You can always use those lights you were using as side lights later on if needed.
So far I'm liking the Spiderfarmer light my gf got me. Course I'm only 4 days in lol.
There's also this thread which might help you.
Thanks for your support, wish you a good harvest :weed: :weed:

What everyone else said is correct.
If you are curious, I am using SpiderFarmer's growing kit. Same as MarsHydro but better light ( samsung diodes ).

It is awesome for beginners and for getting started. MarsHydro kit will also work well. Matter of preference, both will allow you to grow decent bud.
I am currently running 1 White Widow Auto and 1 Royal Dwarf Auto. Both 2.5 weeks old so almost the same age as your seedling.
Thanks for your support

I have a plant that was under a little 45w desktop grow lamp, and I moved her under the sf1000 I just got a little while ago. She kind of freaked out. I have left her alone and the new growth is coming in just fine now. The tips of the biggest leaves got yellow, looking a lot like a mag deficiency, and the others curled up a bit and seemed dry. I just gave her a weak feed and waited it out.
I'm not saying the same thing is happening here, but it might be. Here's a couple of pics from today. I just took them and she's in the dark period now, so she's a bit droopy.

She's a cross of Blue Widow and ?. I'm just growing her to see how it turns out. I've put her in with the White Widow seedling so we'll see how it goes. I keep saying her, but the other seed I tried was a male, lol.

@Millo are you keeping your bottom flaps open to draw air in or do you keep them closed? At the moment I have the 2 side ones open half way and rear closed but not sure what to do with them as the extractor/exhaust fan works hard and shifts alot of air.

You need one open for passive air intake. I left open the flap on the opposite side of the carbon filter, so it doesn't draw air in a straight manner.

Hi can anyone tell me if this is ok to use in normal pots or is it only for hydroponics? My plant is not doing good I know it had a bad start but I think my soil is the wrong type so I want to try and get the right stuff for the next grow so I can rule that out.
