First Hydro Grow !

i dont know how much bigger they can get. the tallest was 40" this morning i got them because of the tent and they got to big. what should i do

how long do you think it will be. i only can move my light up about another foot maybe. i can maybe take all the grow out of my nutes. help me! haha.

you could try to angle them slightly....dont force too hard tho cuz u can break em. its harder to do in flowering.. try tying some string from underneath the topbud and maybe like try to tie that string across over somewhere to the side of the tent...see wat im sayin maybe kinda? im not a good explainer haha

if you think you can help, help. but please dont tell me my harvest is far off and then completely stop responding when asked for an answer.if you dont know thats fine too.

duluth is minnesota! hopefully one of the next states to go medical..fingers crossed haha. good state. nice people..get good bud and got people that grow dank bud so im happy here for now

What did you end up doing about you lights? Im planning on growing only 8 plants. I have been planning on using 6500 K CFLS, about 9 lights. Was wanting SOG.

i just fallowed what duluthdankmaster said and tied the tops to a string and angled it so it would essentiall start to give the plant scoliosis as it grows more. so far its working we will see and i will post results with pics.

with that set up you should do well. you probably wont have to worry about your plants getting to big,but we can all hope. you may have to downsize, i am running 1 400w hps, and its just enough for my 6 plants and there pretty close together. anyway maybe try 4-5 to start and get those lights closer together. make sure that you have a good air flow going. the #1 problem i see people deal with on indoor grows, besides the obvious learning curve, is dealing with heat. they cant stand heat thats too intense or too long.

the cold sucks if u gotta be outside but im not much of an outdoor grower...maybe next year ill try. ive come across a few people that end up with a solid harvest each fall from outdoors. southern mn is better for it.


and to ItsJohny, best thing u can do for height issues is keep topping your girls while theyre vegging. thats the best way to maintain height..unless u have overall area issues like a small grow room then u can top, prune and shape your hardy lil girls as needed to maximize your grow space...they train very well while vegging. if u need help lemme kno

yeah for sure, where im at the summer is to hot indoors unless you run room air conditioners. we have a climate very similar to portland ore without all the rain. and it gets colder, but summers are perfect for outdooor, so no complaints

so as you can see i have posted some pics, and i need feedback. when are these girls ready. i know they are not ready now judging the trichs, and the resin glands, but by the looks of these plants and the genetics how much longer do i have. i would like to harvest by thanksgiving. that would just be hopeful wishing. i am asking so i know when i should flush. thanks a ton. they are on average over 40 inches tall im using holland secret nutes in hydroten ebb and flow under 400w hps.the humidity is 45-55 and the temps over the plants is about 75 always.

how many days are the auto's?? lowryder usually finishes in between 60 and 80 days from seed. n i think ur looking for about 60% amber at least..maybe more or less depending on how u want the high to be. are all the pics of the autos?? they look like the buds are kind of airy but thats not a big deal at all...ive never seen autos that have fat swollen buds, usually are kinda airy n lanky. ur girls look beautiful tho bro...u doin some good growing.

thanks man, i am just switching to straight water now, twoo weeks of that and 3 days of starving. not lights or water and cold from the ac. shockin um. then choppity choppity. haha im excited.

rite n dude congrats on a 1st successful grow. 72 hours of dark before chop is wat i always do. wat are u gonna run next? im bout to get a 7 foot flood table, im so excited! finally can get a Sea Of Green setup goin on haha!

well the plan is to get an enclosed hood plus one more light and hood.i want to run them in series with a can filter to cut down on running the air conditioner,plus those hoods will put out better light then my ewing. also i am going to buy an ro filter. i will be running 2-3 trays instead of 1. pretty much just making my water better my light better and my air quality better, and doing it all bigger. if i can afford it i will be getting a co2 tank and regulator. i ordered sweet god and albino rhino from bcbuddepot.com. i will be using a veticle growth inhibitor during vegging, something like bushmaster so i do not run into the problems ive had with the lowryder2. dont get me wrong i am not dissapointed in the results but they have gotten almost to big for my tent. anyway the albino rhino and sweet god should not get very big. i will post some new pics in a couple days, everything is changin so fast now.
