First outdoor balcony grow. How am I looking?

Growing on a South/South-eastern facing balcony. I have topped twice (i think), second time i accidentally broke off a stem so my plant looks a little funky. Wondering if I should top it again?

This is 18 days from when I planted my clone. How am I looking so far? I'm aware my soil sucks, is it still possible to transplant into a better soil (perlite, worm castings, etc.)? Any tips/comments/advice would be great.

Oh yeah. It's Tahoe OG strain. Not sure how long it is supposed to take to grow. I'm in the PNW and a medical patient.

its looking very good! it probably wouldn't be possible to transplant until your plant has grown out of that bucket and become root bound. That soil isn't that bad if your plant looks that nice. I would just let her grow let mother nature do her thing.

If you want to keep your plant canopy lower or create a wider bush versus a taller plant, you can top the dominant branches again or tie them down. I recommend tying the stronger branches down, because you aren't damaging and stunting your small plant, but just redistributing the hormones to the other branches.

Looking good though!

can you leave a plant like that in that same bucket for the whole time it grows and get the bud you want or not?

Check out the link in my sig. I posted pics of my 2012 outdoor grow recently. In mostly 4-7 gallon containers. The plants were rather large. You just might have to water everyday depending on your climate.

Yes. Tear off all growth along the main stem that will be buried. Where that growth was there will now sprout roots

Deck and patio warriors unite! Looks good man. Im doing a ton of lst'ing. Neighbors on both sides less then ten feet. Hoping for 10/15 units off my deck. They will smell mine but will never see unless they have a chopper:-D

The plants are a lil bigger btw..
