Yes, do some LST to the bean POLES. Either that or put them a few feet apart, and run elect wires between them, for power poles...hahaha

Hello Gnome,

For starters, you need to get those plants OUT of the transparent cups... When LIGHT mixes with MOIST soil, you can get some serious TROUBLE..

transplant into 1 - 3 gallon containers and use PERLITE.. about 20% perlite to 80% soil..

perlite is great for newbies because it prevents over watering...

cheers

i got duct tape around the cups...i know that roots dont like light!...and my soil is a 80-20% soil/perlite! drains well!....do u think i sould still transplant even with the tape around the cups?!?...i just planted a few seeds and they sprouted so i'll have to wait a lil while to transplant those... thanks!

its just a 3x4 closet....this is pretty much just an experiment to learn and gain some experiance...i soon want to build an 8x8 grow room...thats y i was thinking of going with the 600 watt hps...it would be sweet to have a MH for veg...but im not rich! and the hps is a must have for flowering!

thats what i was ganna say. might as well go for the 600 because, IMO, you will want to move to a bigger area once u get hooked lol. u can get a switchable ballast for not much more money. you can use mh and hps on it. a 600 isnt to much for a 3x4 closet. your only problem will be heat from the light. but if you air cool the light u wont have nothing to worry about, i highly highly suggest it.

i was lookging at switchable systems...but once i get into flowering im gunna want to have flowering and veg. so i need a hps for constant flowering!lol:weed:
i also need to get some kind of fert. for veg...i have a gallon of budswell for flowering!...any good ferts for veg.?..i wanna keep it organic!

i hear u. your trying to go for a perpetual harvest right? having vegging plants growing while ur other ones are flowering and just replace a few every couple weeks when u harvest a few right? i use a 250mh for my veg box and 1200 watts of hps in my flowering room and it works great. also as for organic nutes. i use botanicares line of Pure Blend Pro. for veg i use Pure Blend Pro Grow and Liquid Karma. i highly highly recommend these nutrients. they work very well, they are organic, and ph never fluxuates. only thing is its kinda expensive, 20 bucks a quart. but its worth it in my eyes. only the best for my girls.

Those plants look just fine. put them under some nice light and they should be ready to flower in a week or two

as for your first ? the wire screen is a scrog(screen of green) yes the mesh does support the heavy buds but it also makes the plant grow horizontally instead of vertically. so when it comes time to flower every budsite has equal intense light. this eliminates the crappy popcorn unfinished nugs u get at the bottom of the plant in normal grows. it is a very very efficient way of using your lights and produces many many many main top colas via topping and the screen itself. what is a TL floro? ive heard of t-5, t-8, t-12 but ive never heard of TL please elaborate. so you have 4100 lumens being produced. keep in mind the sun produces 10,000 lumens per sq foot. what lights u ganna use for flowering?
