First time scrog

Bit about my setup. I have a 5x5 tent with two Mars hydro 192x5 reflector series lights. I'm growing 2 super lemon haze from feminized seeds which are 2 months into veg. Due to one plant not taking the transplant and topping ect as the other plant, her growth slowed down quite a bit. So I have two plants side by side under a scrog and the left plant has been being tucked for some time now whereas I haven't been tucking the right plant but a short time now. I had a genius idea, I'll take a wooden end table and cut the legs down and put the plant on that boosting her up about 6 inches which would make her about the same size as the other plant and I can start tucking her. The reason I did this is because I thought I was gonna be flipping to flower soon. But now I'm not sure. I think I might just be getting impatient.

So basically the two questions I have are
1. Was boosting the plant up like that actually gonna help the plant under a scrog to basically play catchup or was it just not an ideal thing to do?
2. This being a sativa and expecting a decent stretch, are these about rdy to be flipped?

I'm kinda new and just did my first scrog, mine were smaller than that and had less tucking when I flipped. About 2.5 months of veg. And they filled out a lot. So if it were me I would flip them now. I also did the same thing boosting up,a couple that were smaller just until they started stretching then lowered it down to the ground a little more every day. I don't see the harm in it. I just wanted a bit of a head start on tucking before the stretch.

I also wanna keep them under the light as much as possible because that's where all the strength is. I don't wanna a few smaller colas on the outside when I could be focusing all the energy on the colas inside of the light parameter. I'm just not sure how much they are gonna stretch so while I'm doing all my trimming underneath to prepare for flower I'm being hesitate on trimming off branches I think MIGHT hit net and will be of some weight. I tend to really over think every aspect of growing lol
