First time tent user, Light leak questions.

Hey I've been using a 4x4x6.5 tent and its my first go at it. I'm about to flower but wondering about light leaks and how light tight my tent needs to be. Over all its very dark inside but there are spots along the seams and the main zipper where you can see light come through when the lights are on inside.

Those are going to have minimal to no affect. Light tight is ideal, but if you don't have to worry about someone noticing the light leaks, or you're not worried about being stealthy. Those are nothing to sweat about.

I thought that light leaks coming in were bad for during flowerings dark cycle, if you have an indoor strain.

You're fine. I have a jardin and you can see many pin hole sized leaks and it's no problem. Think about it, when the light is on you're containing a super brite light source in a small area so it would almost be expected that some leaks would be present.
Light may be getting out but no light that would be material in effect would be getting in, since most likely you don't have an HID light outside your tent shining towards your zippers.

Don't most people keep a spot light on their tent?... I kid I kid.

How'd you feel about the price vs quality of the Jardin? I was looking at them but found a local Canadian made for a very reasonable price.

My 3x3 dr90 was a hair over $200 delivered and I feel that price point is very reasonable for what you get in terms of quality. There are a lot of good tents out there. As long as the corners are strong, the zippers are durable, there are no major light leaks and the tent's not off gassing you're basically good to go.
The new gorilla tents are bad ass IMO mainly b/c if you grow tall sativas you have the extra height that the comes with the gorilla. I don't think the gorilla is priced fairly though. You can almost get two jardins for the price of one gorilla.
I would bet the competition has taken notice of the gorilla and I wouldn't be surprised to see other tent companies coming out with adjustable height tents.

My 4x4 was $150 after taxes and delivery. My girlfriend jammed the one zipper closing it, aside from that the zippers seems good quality and it was advertised as not producing off gases. The zipper still works, you can just see a little light where she jammed it.

Ya, she loves see how much they've grown every time she comes over. Plus she loves to smoke, she doesn't actually need it like I do but I'll share...

I got back into growing because my girl is a user, both for rec and meds.

Hell, she manages the garden when I'm away on business, and does all of the making of medibles too
