Flowering room lighting during dark phase

noxiously

I hear that it is safe to use green lighting in your flowering room during the dark period in order to tend to your plants. I found a place that sells green incadescent light bulbs for a good price and was wondering if those are safe or do they have to be some kind of special growers bulb? I have a light socket in the grow room that I could screw the green incadescent bulb in so I can just turn it on while in tending to the ladies.

Any green light will work bro."plants are green, which means they reflect green light.this is because cannabis, and most other plants, do not use green light for photosynthesis.it has to do with chlorophyll". I read this out of the cannabis grow .bible by GregGreen.

yea any green light will do. best to have everything set up right and not need to mess with them at night. good system -> trust the system.

Using green bulbs is common practice to get around the room in the dark. Hydro stores even sell green headband flashlights which I find pretty silly. I personally use green CFL party bulbs, and have seen LED bulbs as well. I imagine incandescents will work just fine. Have never heard of anyone get any plant stress related to use of green lights.

ive been growing for years and have never bought one. chances are, while the lights are off, youll be sleeping. guess it would be handy to get one tho.

Where I live temps outside get up too 100 daily. So daytime for us is when I have them in the night cycle.seeing how I work grave yard shift the green light has been my best friend.

I don't work the grave yard shift but during the 12/12 cycle the lights are out about 2 hrs after I get home. I mainly want one so I can refresh the bubble buckets with new water and nutes, ph it, and basically just sit there and admire them some more. It's a nice get away. Gotta love and admire nature, maybe I'll a few birds, and a ton of other exotic plants to give it that jungle feel. Lol, yea.
