found a seed while trimming

i had a 3 plant grow. 3 different strains. all 3 produced nice big buds, but in 2 of the plants I found a single seed in each. how does this happen? did some how pollen get In the room from outside? or is it something that just happens?

more importantly the question is, are the seeds 100% the strain of the plant that it came from or do I have some kind of cross?

Horny girls. I had that happen also.. They are starting to herm on you. I found a yellow flower and I cut that cola off,dried and cured it and it is wonderful. Then today I found some more yellow bananas on that particular plant and decided to take her down for fear of it pollinating my other ladies. And I've had just 1 or 2 seeds on other plants when I've had a grows before. They want males! So I suspect you have a little yellow banana somewhere hidden amongst the cola or nearby that you found the seed on that pollinated that seed. Do you really have a seed there or just an empty shell looking like a seed?
The seed is likely a hermie and it could grow, and if it does it will be female.

Yes, it will be female ( in that situation ) but will also carry that nanner-throwing trait.

After a plant buds long enough and doesnt get fertilized from a male it will produce its own male flower just to survive. Nature is pretty incredible. Dont confuse this with shocking your plant into a hermi.

thanks, I did have a long flower period. went 10 weeks. but ya there was a seed there, I plucked it out. so if im understanding, the plant was not pollinated from another plant? which would make the seed of the same strain that it came out of? came from a super lemon haze and I would love to grow it again. the other was from the ghosttrain haze

Just germ and grow

Check the lower buds and see if you find any more beans.
