Fox News ON YOUR SIDE!

Ironic? In what way? O'Reilly has blasted Bush right along with Chris Dodd, Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank. If anyone on Fox News is middle of the road, its O'Reilly. In fact, listener/watcher surveys have pointed out that over half of his audience considers themselves to be Democrats or Indepentents. Here's info from the PEW organization: http://people-press.org/report/?pageid=1353

A plurality of his listeners are still Republican, and so is O'Reilly. However, that's entirely irrelevant. Why did you bring any of this up, it has NOTHING to do with whether or not he spins the news.

I watched him once when Dawkins was on, and he said Hitler was atheist. Dawkins said that he was a Roman Catholic (which he was, and is a pretty widely known fact by all middle school graduates), O'Reilly counters back "he was a man of poor moral character", implying atheism is the making of poor moral character (if he thinks "THE WORLD IS 6000 YEARS OLD, MAN LIVED WITH DINOSAURS, AND A COSMIC JEWISH ZOMBIE WHO IS HIS OWN FATHER RULES THE UNIVERSE" is more rational or qualifies someone to be made of better moral character, which I presume he does, he's an idiot). O'Reilly is an idiot.

Look at the chart from the poll. 39% Republicans, 55% Democrats and Independents.

And are you saying that Hitler was of GOOD moral character? If so ... how so?

Here's some of Hitler's thinking on Christianity and religion in general. Interestingly enough, his thinking kind of parallels your own: :blsmoke:

Vi are you defending faux?
Not at all. I'm doing what I usually do in this forum ... and that is to point out the hypocrisy of the Left. Their apoplexy over Fox News knows no bounds. They continually accuse Fox of being "conservative" or "right wing," when in fact, Fox presents BOTH sides of the issue. They usually have at least two guests on each program from both sides of the aisle. I believe that what bothers the Left the most is, that unlike the MSM, conservative viewpoints of any type are presented on Fox.

Never get tired of being wrong, do you bud?

Two Fox News Channel talk shows, Hannity & Colmes and The O'Reilly Factor, also have highly conservative audiences. Hannity & Colmes is viewed regularly by 7% of the public; among the show's regular viewers, 68% describe themselves as politically conservative. The O'Reilly Factor with Bill O'Reilly is the most widely viewed talk show included in the poll: 10% of the public watches this show regularly and another 19% watch sometimes. Roughly two-thirds of O'Reilly's regular viewers are conservatives, while a mere 3% describe themselves as liberals.

But then facts never did matter much to a committed Faux News viewer.

Come on Vi Fox will have people from both sides and then bash the other side. They are as fair and balanced as they can get with the forces at play.

Back to the Bovine growth hormone, if it is not dangerous why is it not approved for use in Europe?

Vi, nailed it right on the head. What bothers liberals is that the conservative viewpoint is even voiced. I would like the libs to name one other major media outlet that voices both sides of the story that they don't automatically hate.

nice job, another liberal op-ed page. how about giving some real media
A 1984 graduate of Harvard University, Goodman is best known as the principal host of Pacifica Radio's Democracy Now! program, where she has been described by the Los Angeles Times as "radio's voice of the disenfranchised left".[1]
and here is some info on Juan Gonzales
Biography

González was born in 1947 Ponce, Puerto Rico, and was raised in East Harlem and Brooklyn. After a stint as editor of his high school newspaper, the Lane Reporter, González enrolled in Columbia University, where he began a career of political activism that would include occupying Boylan Hall—at Brooklyn College—in a public demonstration.
He eventually graduated from Columbia in the 90s after completing one law and one physical education requirement, González enrolled in a journalism course at Temple University during the 1970s, which led to a position at the Philadelphia Daily News.
In 1981, he was elected president of the National Congress for Puerto Rican Rights, a political organization that concentrated on registering new Latino voters.
and are the so called Latino voters that he concentrates on registering not also liberal?
so where is the fair and balanced media?
come on.....

 1. We want an end to discrimination against Puerto Ricans and the Spanish language in the media (radio, television, movies, and press).
 2. We want an end to discrimination against Puerto Rican small businesses.
from http://www.ncprr.us/

the thing is that all dems are against small business, and it has been proven by the majority that wants people earning 250,000 dollars or more taxed at a higher rate. that includes most small businesses. so again, it wont make any difference though, liberal idealism is illogical :D

Some people considered that the important issues in the last election were the economy, two wars, the evisceration of the constitution, secret prisons, torture, health care, etc.

Some people considered the important issues were Obama's middle name, where he was born, where he went to elementary school, his pastor, his birth certificate, etc.

Nice to know there was a TV channel for them too.

Some people like O'Reilly. Personally, I prefer to watch Keith Olbermann. But I think think anyone who wasted my time and their own protesting that he is "fair" or "unbiased" would have to be either a fool, or a troll, or both.

If you don't know who she is ... how do you know whether or not her reports are bias or unbias? Is this an indication you speak of things you know nothing about ... :-|

After reading through 40-50 of your posts, my "opinion" is that your "opinion" is pretty much the same as Faux News, especially, Sean Hannity and Bill O'Rielly. You could work on proving me wrong, or not. Refering to liberals as commies and such is what they do on a daily basis.

Makes it easy for the FoxNews type hyper-propagandarists to keep it simple.

Us vs Them syndrome.

Example:
The Coalition of the Good vs the Al Qaeda Communist Melon Green Marxist Allah worshipping Socialist Liberal Anarchist Democrats...

If the woman at issue is AMY Goodman ... she definitely is a progressive/socialist/Marxist (all the same thing).
