i just got back for the one of the worse days out in a long time. not only is my medical file lacking allot of info but voc rehab wont give me my file for my wheelchair which is broken so how am i supposed to do anything get get new parts when they wont hand me my OWN file. im in pain and the doc wont even write the shit down to boost my file. how am i supposed to ever get a script for pain if my file has literally no history to it. more on the pain part i cant replace any part of my chair and have it covered with medicare if i dont go threw voc rehab first. what kind of country do you have when people who are in bad shape cant even get what they need to live a happy life?

So fuck the US of A? Cause you cannot stay ontop of your shit?

I say fuck the citizens of america, for being such finger pointers whenever something goes wrong. Take blame and take initiative. Keep copies of all your medical records and keep them organized and in a safe place, after every appointment get a copy and place it in your folder, that way when shit like this happens you can have your own records. If its the doctor, then switch.....

I am in bad shape, but I dont go complaining about my government when I gotta wait 4 hrs to fill my prescription or when I have to go into the ER to get treatment and when they are so bad that I walk out w/phlebitis off 5 missed IV's, just saying, You are your own maker. Not the medicare program.

We need free health care here in the US.
Yea, sure, if you're poor and live in poverty, free health care is great. But wait until you have a decent paying job and health care is MANDATORY. Then you'll realize that you aren't just paying for yours, but you'll also be buying it for those that choose not to work.

Shit. I work every fucking day. I just can't find a job where they want to even provide me with the option of getting health insurance, and when they do it barely even covers shit. Plus it ends up costing you a large chunk of your paycheck every week. Everything is getting so damn expensive everywhere you go. Wages aren't rising nearly as fast as the price of living is. I love my country but shit is really fucked up right now. I just hope that shit turns around and gets better instead of continuing down the path that we are on now.

what happened to the money that was raised for your wheelchair...
i still have it. here the problem if you read anything else after that you'd no im moving. 185 from RIU IS STILL THERE AND WILL NOT LEAVE!!!! now ive called these people up so i thought they would have had all their shit ready. i need to get an authorization from voc rehab to get anything for this chair. medicare will cover it most likely but because the chair came from voc rehab its still their ball. fucked up huh? i cant have medicare pay anything until voc rehab says its ok because it is there chair. does that make enough sense to anyone?

Look at it this way, under Obama care, the price of drugs will go up...the health insurance you get at your job will actually go UP IN PRICE and not down like they intended...and when you become a senior citizen the Federal government will make all your health care decisions for you. Isn't that nice of them.

One thing is certain, from a center point of view, things are actually going to get worse as far as health care goes.

Just vote anybody but Obama in 2012

If you can't afford health care now, wait until it's free. Then you'll be really fucked.
Why do Americans say that? Have you ever asked a Canadian how they like their health care? I am sure if you asked 10 Canadians, at least 8 or 9 would say they are happy to have their health care system.

I have not met one Canadian that said they didnt wish they had it.

my state has fucking romney care. there has been free health care here for years but now it's mandatory to carry it. so if you choose not to have health insurance you get a bill at tax time. every month you did not have health insurance you get charged, with the cap being $1,200 a year.

last year i did not qualify for free care and i could not afford the health care that was offered to me. for this crime i am being billed $1,200. i never set foot in a doctor's office or hospital.

1281 bucks a month is what my employer and I pay for health care. It's more than my fukin mortgage. I wish it was free
WTF?? That is insane! Dude I honestly feel really sorry for you. If times ever get bad and you need a high end operation I can get you in touch with some of my Canadian friends. One of them just married an american girl, not a real marriage, just a marriage so they could get her the operation she needed. The hospital here said it was going to be a $120k operation, but she drove up to Canada, got the operation and ended paying $90(the fee to park your car at the hospital garage for a week)

Something tells me most Canadians dont pay an extra $1281 X 12 = $15372 a year in taxes just to support medical costs.
