If you're asking on what I base the 'years' statement, it's just understanding how long policy and law take to shape. Obviously it won't be 2015, as the person i replied said. The election isn't even until October 2015, so expecting an entirely new law to be drafted and passed that quickly seems a bit naive. Perhaps as early as 2016, but that's still a stretch in light of how long most legislation takes, wouldn't you agree?
Not to mention they need a majority gov to get it done I think.

Sooooo, in a fair and just world: majority Liberal....and then GREEN PARTY has the next number of seat?

(the other way around would be nice - but people just funking don't love the green party - I have NO idea why...$$$)

Fuck - some shit would get DONE!

(this is if you really got to pick your government - too bad there isn't a real election)

Who the fuck votes conservative anyways?

Almost 6 million Canadians in 2011 voted for Adolf Harper. Gross.

I was asking your thoughts on a timeline.
I was thinking 2017 at the earliest, provided the Conservative dominated senate doesn't play games.

They did it kinda quicker in Washington, Colorado, and Uruguay I think.

Maybe the Canadian government should ask them how it's done?
But as soon as the libs announce legalization, lots of people will come out of the closet. The proverb
Under the normal process:
2015 - Election
2016 - Hearings, consultations, committee meetings.
2017 - Bill gets written and submitted to parliament.
2018 - gets published in the gazette - senate passes (maybe)
2019 - regulations get written and an infrastructure to manage the process is designed
2020 - It's finally legal.

Expedited
no sooner than 2017.
But as soon as the Libs announce legalization, all kinds of people be coming out of the closet. The proverbial genie will be busting to get out of the prohibitionist bottle.

Don't mean to interrupt your conversation but I'm pretty sure there's a thread right below this one related the liberals and legalization. Just saying cause people are complaining about lack of tilray info and now this has gone way off topic. Also feel free to start a smoking cessation thread too :p

I know they are growing in house, my question is what about the stuff that is currently being sold?
I hear rumours that they are still somehow managing to acquire outside product.

Yes they are currently selling from both sources. The old strains that now have much lower profiles are the ones grown in house. The old strains with the same test results are from old stock. The new ones are grown in house. At least according to their rep.

Probably not how they wanted to handle it but really it's their fault. Lie to their customers about implementin a compassionate pricing program, call their customers cheap when they call them out for absurd prices and then raise the price on top of all that and they really have no one to blame but themselves when they get some backlash.

ha ha is their any LP that hasn't had some shit going on? they say, it's new (1000 years new) ,they will get it together (but when that happens, that weed will cost ya $30 a gram) not being a grower but with some of this so called medical weed couldn't you throw a few seeds in a ditch and get better results?
