People DO have things to do... but remember that we are the most shady, unethical species to exist to date. Her friend likely knows that she got a call back from her doctor, and is too ashamed to answer the phone because her "friend" should've told her LONG ago that she has an STD.

agreed.. OR, the "friend" ( /shudders ) was diagnosed as having an STD and gave the OP's name as a "recent sex partner" and thats why she was contacted in the fist place. If you do not go in for treatment or follow up they ( health dept ) can post your name in the paper LOL.

I know what she has to do, it's not more important than this. It's not even her car, she forced her exboyfriend to lend it to her. I wanted her ex to drive me, she could have been dropped off at the house she's at. I don't know who gets a text saying "answer the phone, you might have Chlamydia." and doesn't answer.

If she's the one who gave you the STD maybe she's just too embarrassed to take your call. I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, but honestly that sounds pretty fuckin shitty. Even if she wasn't the one who gave it to you, as your friend she should be willing to give you a damn RIDE.
