G13 Haze 10 weeks into budding problems!

These plants just haven't been happy in awhile. They are 3 feet taller than I thought they would be when finished.1st problem is my fault. I planted 2 small clones in each of my 4 gallon square buckets. I figured they would finish less than 3 feet tall.
All of my leaf sets have 3 skinny leaves, the buds are horribly whispy. I am using Fox Farm Nute line up. Is there anything I do do to save them this far along?

Hate to say it but your best bet at this point is to flush and harvest. I grow Haze as well, messed up some shit but my worst sativas never looked like that. (no insult, just looks like a lot of issues.) I run drip through hydroton, have used foxfarm, did not like in hydro-to messy. Anyway give me some of your set up details, and some journal notes, maybe I can help?

I am growing in Roots Organics soil mixture. Nutes are Fox Farm Big Bloom/Tiger Bloom/Beastie Bloomz, Cha Ching. I feed every other watering, I am watering every 2 or 3 days. My pots are 4 glallon and have 2 plants in each plot.

I really thought I was growing Pineapple Chunk (packages are identical) and I never went back to look until the plants were way taller than I expected. I was hoping to have them finish about 2-3 feet tall not 6 feet.

Really sucky to harvest these things. Hairs are changing but no trichomes yet.

kind of looks like you are running a hot room. one of my first indoor grows was about 80-85%, didnt quite look like what you have but they didnt stop growing after flower and the buds were all airy. i did have trichomes though. how hot is your room?

I have the temp on the exhaust fan set at 85, but it never goes off. Outside the room it is in the 50's year round. In an old room I screwed up the daytime/nighttime temps & for a week the room got to 95-100 and the plants took a beating and were similar to these come to think of it. I am going to let them go. I figured them to finish the 2nd week of December. I started new Pineapple Chunk and some of the Freebies I got from Attitude.
My first thought is the plants are in 4 gallon pots with (2) 6 foot plants in each one. One of the plants is the original mother and it is in a 2 gallon pot. Maybe rootbound?
Maybe the plants need more feedings?

Well I just checked my PH meter and it was so off. After I calibrated the tester my tap water read 6.5. Before I calibrated it, the water tested 8.9. So I can only estimate, but my nutes and watering have probably been in the low 5's or even 4's as I adjust it to 6.6 or 6.7. How often should I calibrate the tester?

Wrong...you should check you meter every time you use it. What do you think, PH meters are accurate for 30 days at a time? If you don't check your meter every time then you are taking a chance. Hell, I grow in dirt and still check mine whenever I use it.

I think your main problem is having 2 plants in each bucket. Having 2 plants in each bucket means that they are consuming the nutrients twice as fast. There were many mistakes made in this grow. Cannabis does not grow itself indoors, it needs help. GL
once a month.

i think the pot size is your largest factor to where your issues are coming from. the rule of thumb is one foot of growth per gallon/pot size. you have a 4 gallon pot, you could max out safely at 4'. NEVER EVER put 2 plants in the same pot.. even if it is a large pot, the roots will become a tangled mess. as long as you can learn from any mistakes, you come out ok :)

Yep, once a month. Its what most makers suggest under personal use. Mine is never off more than .2 when I calibrate it each month.

Yes, there was a learning curve here. I had never calibrated the PH meter. I let the plants go until the buds were getting "over done" on the bottom of each branch. I ended up with a 1 gallon jar and a smaller 1 qt jar of whispy bud. The last couple of weeks the buds doubled in size and density. The mother remained healthy in the veg room. Although I didn't feed her often to keep nitogen levels low for cloning. I have a room full of new clones. I only vegged the new clones to 6 inches and waited for 2 sets of new leaves before I moved them into flower room. Last time I vegged the Haze until they were a couple of feet all & ended up growing past 6 feet tall.
The old mother is in the flower room now as well. I tied all the top branches down below the branches below. The mother was maybe 4 1/2 feet tall, now it is down to maybe 3 1/2 feet. I took all of the clones from the lower branches.
I will also check PH meter before each use.

Nah, I am running 600W HPS with a 6 tube T5 just for extra side light. Besides that grow is way over (thank god). I just moved new clones into room for a fresh start.

My flower room is only 5 X 5 X 7, I use maybe a I run 9 4 gallon square buckets and the room is MAXed out. I have an identical room attached and have been keeping a mother in there under T5 Floros, I veg under them too. I have a 400W MH, but don't use it. I just got a 360W HPS conversion bulb that I can use in the MH ballast, I only lose 60 watts. Ballast is built in (400W MH Sun System II). I went to the Grow Store today and looked at a $1500 Stealth Grow LED set-up. I have read so much bad stuff about LED's I hate to spend the money and have it sitting in the attic under a pile of dust. I really trust this guy, he's not a rocket scientist by any means, but he swears by the unit. Not sure how much of what he is saying is 1st hand knowledge or something he read from the sales manual? I am more inclined to get a digital ballast and run any lights I want.
As you can tell I am stoned and jabbering, but I am also growing Pineapple Chunk & a Rocklock (Attitude freebie). Haven't grown a Indica dominant yet. My rooms don't have a lot of space to walk around in otherwise I would veg the P_Chunk and run a SOG, but haven't figured out how I am going to water them all (easily).
