Has anybody found this stuff in the US or something similar? I want to go organic but don't want to deal with a bunch of smells or animal waste.

Here’s what I’m using. Jobes 4-4-4 and jobes 2-5-3

I also use bone meal and EWC.

BTW the organic shit smells like manure. Sooooo maybe stick to bottles if you don’t like the smell.

Looking forward to running with Gaia in the spring - have 4-4-4, 2-8-4, alfalfa, kelp, insect frass, and galacia dust on the way- plan to mix up a living soil and cook for a couple of months before potting. Also planning to add myco to the roots before transplant.
Anyone have experience building a soil with Gaia - also I don't hear very much about insect frass but seems like a great input. Anyone use frass?

This is my mix exactly.2 cups kelp 1 cup frass, alfalfa, 444.Mixed into 2 cu/ft of base.No problems in veg but starting to run low at 4 weeks flower.Next round Ill top dress more and earlier. The tablespoon a week of 444 starting just before flower should help next time.

Thats great insight, thanks man - reading through the tread, the consensus tends to me that if lagging during flower, low available N is to blame? Right away I just assume needs P and K, but I imagine we're talking about overall vigour and not flower production, right?
I'm planning to do a 1:1:1 peat, EWC and perlite (would rather have pumice but can't source it locally and don't wanna pay shipping lol), I'm considering swapping out half of the peat for leaf compost, was also going to add biochar - thinking of it now, it could be a potential solution for lasting available N if you charge it properly.

Every time I top dress my dry nutes (roots organics uprising) it straight up smells like dirty butt holes for a couple days. :eyesmoke: .
And I always I say to myself "that's the smell of killa buds in x-amount of weeks!. If ya can't stand the heat, then get outta the kitchen.

Keep the humus part lower,i did two in veg,one 1/3 1/3 1/3 and one 40/20/40.less humus was more airy.

I follow his thread as well, great info
That’s sorta what I’m thinking as well, taking the 1/3 ewc and splitting it with a leaf/pine needle compost (basically the organic layer of the forest around me), it’s consistency is extremely similar to peat so should lend itself to better aeration, but will provide additional micros and myco

I wouldn't even bother adding 25% 4-4-4 in last feed and would do this in my first feed of flowering instead.. The last month should be water only do let the plant deplete from ut available soil nutrient since there is still nitrogen in the 2-8-4 (1,82% insoluble nitrogen) which mean will be slow releas thru decomposition. Nutrient need to decompose in order to be available. I've been all about organic soil growing and have more then 20 years experience. And have and horticulture diploma. Organic is more forgiving. My suggestion would be to add some great white mychorize for the beneficial bacteria and the thricoderma that are within the mix, they will help in the breaking down of nutrient and make them aivailable faster to your plant without been harmful. Remeber to keep the last month for water only no nuts added for nutrient depletion and awesomeness .

Hi gang,

I just recently started using Gaia Green with Fox Farm Ocean Forest and have been tuning into this thread for advice. Its my first run in soil coming from Coco and salts. Thanks for all the great input from everyone here, been learning lots. I fucked up my first test run with top dressing Gaia Green, I didn't mix it into the soil before hand and it ran out of nutrients halfway through flower and the whole plants have been turning yellow. Buds are small but trichome production is ok. I hope to do better on the next run.

Here are my current seedlings/teens. Started out in Happy Frog soil and then top dressed 3 weeks in with 4-4-4. Some of them look good and healthy with a dark green while a few are quite light green in colour. Hopefully they come back after the second top dressing. Any advice from the organic/Gaia Green experts in here would be greatly appreciated. Happy growing everyone!
