Seeds put down total: 76

Will be using the paper towel germination method then transferring them to solo cups and small plastic cups.
Stay tuned for the next update will have some photos to share and info on how ill be setting up the veg and flowering rooms as plants develop.

Hi Growers,
just posting a few pics of the girls they are currently under a few 23 w lights, no fan but not needed. Its not the best set up but just working with what I got at the moment still need to set up the veg and flowering tents. when they pop will move them into a better situation. Their tap root is just showing so I have transplanted them into some clear plastic cups and a few in red solo cups, I like the clear plastic cups because I will be able to see the roots when they reach the outside of the pot so I know when to transplant again which is great, They are however a bit smaller then the red solo cup but I still prefer them for being able to see the roots. Had a few hiccups with the labelling so I only know what some of them are which is a little bit annoying but I should be able to identify them later when they start to mature. the soil they're in is seedling mix which mostly consists of peat moss, I used it last grow so its got a bit of roots in it but that's fine those should provide a little bit of nutrients for the plants later on. That's all for now, was gonna mention my veg and flower setup but haven't even decided what I'm going to do yet still planning that one.

Hi growers,
Here are a few photos of the girls progressing along just starting to come out of the soil. This grow is much farther along then what I'm showing now (about 4 weeks.) This grow actually started on the 29th March last month so nothing you see is in Realtime but I will have some actual dates, I hope to post enough that this grow becomes Realtime but I still have a bit to post before I get there :p. The seedlings are about 3 days old here.
For my veg and flowering tents I will have 2 flower rooms and 1 veg room.

2x2x2(6.5"x6.5"6.5")will be the main flowering tent. Gonna try have about 49 plants in 8.5L (2Gal) pots. Plants are being trained atm with LST, may do some topping and defoliation closer to the switch to flower maybe a week before. ill have 4 lights going (2x600W hps)x(2x450W Cree CX3070) 4 fans, dehumidifier and a carbon filter. will also make up some cheap yeast and sugar solution to help keep up Co2 levels in the tent probably do 5 2L bottles.
1.2x1.2x2(4"x4"x6.5") will be the second flowering tent not sure what ill be doing in there just yet. will post later when i figure it out. Any suggestions are welcome.:D

1.45x1.45x2 (4.75"x4.75"x6.5") Veg room will have 400 Watt metal halide and fan. May put some yeast sugar solution.

That's it for now happy growing everybody Jah bless!:bigjoint:

Hi Growers,
Just a little update of the girls. This is a photo of them under the 450 watt Cree CX3070 running at 40%. no air flow a bit stretched but they survived so all good. Out of the 76, 51 made it. A couple died from human mistake like being pulled out of the ground while I was walking around them oops  There was 1 male that was a blue cheese from expert seeds. Some died from being eaten by these worms in the soil little white wriggler things not sure what they are but definitely just gonna buy some new soil to plant next time. those worms killed a few of them about 6 or 7.(lesson learned) Germination rate on this run is about 67% which is probably the lowest rate I have ever had, partly due to human error and infested soil. The plants that did survive all look pretty good and are growing well so happy days.

Hi Growers,
just another update, got a little video here. moved the girls into the closet, its April the 8th day 10, they are moving along pretty good.

Still using the Cree CX3070 running at 60% now. Finally got some air flow going to help strengthen there stalks up. Supposed to be a video but don't know how to upload so just posting pictures from the video. quality is poor but not too much going on right now at this time, everything was pretty easy to manage for the time being. AT the present the tents are starting to fill out as you will see later.

Happy Growing everybody Jah bless! :bigjoint:

Hi growers,
Got another update here. few photos of the girls in a video, sorry the quality is poor i decided to film a lot of what's going on as the girls getting bigger but will just take pictures from now on. Anyways this is them on April 12 2 Weeks and 1 day old. Not trying to grow them too fast as I'm still setting up gear around this time and want to keep them small for as long as possible so they are easy to manage. they are getting sprayed with some water to help keep them humid and the fan speed I have bumped up a bit. The Cree Cx3070 is running at 100 % and 60 % depending on how fast I want to dry the plants out but mostly running at 60%. I don't do a feed and water schedule in veg I just look at the plants and check for deficiencies or toxicities and feed or water based on that. I have been keeping the plants a little bit thirsty then I like but they still look reasonably healthy I would say just based off testing Ph, EC and overall plant look the garden is about 80% healthy where I am currently at. Will be posting a few charts later with some of the tests I have done on the EC PH from the run off. still just giving them tap water around this time. Didn't PH test the tap water until later and it was reading about 8 which is a lot higher then I like but actually really good in a way. Caused a yellowing in a couple of plants and the run off on those plants were around 7 PH with low EC. Not sure if I like testing the run off with the ppm meter to tell if the plant is over or under fed. The reason for this is I did a test on 3 plants all had the same reading on EC meter same structure health basically looked the same, The reading was high at 1800 so I wanted to bring there PPM down. Waited for their pots to get dry fed them all with water. Gave them Water again. one of the pots stayed high but the plant looked great. the other 2 ppms dropped significantly this is only after a few days. One dropped to 700 and the other to 400, they didn't look as good as the one that maintained high ppm but they didn't look unhappy. this ppm shit is just a nightmare for me but i think i will be using it to mix my nutrients keeping ppm high 1700ppm just so i can water them for long periods without having to worry about there nutrient intake. i know the only way i can get nutrient lock out is if my PH slips under 5 or goes above 7 so I have to keep it at 5.5 or 6.5 i found this was around optimal based on what kind of aesthetics i want my plant to have. 6 is the sweet spot for me and was what most of the plants were testing so I think that ill try keep them around that level and 5.5 when they get fed. Im finding that the PH is alot more important than ppm. Anyway that was a bit of a rant on ppm and PH.

Happy Growing Everybody! :bigjoint:

Forgot to mention one more thing which is I got this weird phenotype. Doesn't grow any lateral branches literally just growing one shoot not sure who the genetics are (didn't label) but its a bit disappointing lol can't even clone or reveg it.....anyone else got this?

Hi growers,
just another update of the girls, this is them at 25 Days old here from seed. They seem to all be growing at different rates, some faster then others. I have done some LST on most of the plants now though it isn't very visible. girls haven't had anything to eat still getting straight water and foliar spraying with a little bit of seaweed tonic. A lot of them are root bound and I plan to transplant them to their final pots this coming week. I have decided to flower 36 plants in the 2x2x2(6.5x6.5x6.5) and use just 3 lights which are set up on a diagonal more photos to come.

Hi growers, haven't posted for awhile been quite busy but trying to keep updates as much as I can. The girls are doing really well at present completely filled out the 2x2x2(6.5x6.5x6.5) excited to show those photos later. these 2 photos are the girls on the 28th of April just been moved into the 2x2x2(6.5x6.5x6.5((meters) tent. there's about 30 sitting in there now, ill move 6 more in later just kind of choosing the ones that I think are ready and making sure they are all a similar size before they start flowering. they are sitting at 31 days now. I put them into flower at 36 days old so they are 5 days from going into flower. I'm just about to repot them over the next few days into the 8.5 litre (2.2 Gal) plastic pots. Also they are going to be tied down and defoliated as well. I could have vegged them a bit longer to get them a bit higher but I'm kind of against the clock so trying to do this 2x2x2(6.5x6.5x6.5) as quick as possible.

Happy Growing everybody!:bigjoint:
