I know Im early, but I had to document this, cause my memory is shit. I decided to try and induce drought pressure to bring out the purple and the resins. I stopped watering yesterday, and this is the result I gotIMG_4040.jpegIMG_4042.jpeg
Amazing! But the wilt is heavy so I decided to give them 50% of a watering and see if they will stand at attention and take one more bow for me.

she’s all done, chopped, full plant hang in the dark. I can’t quite get to 60 degrees and stay there, but I can keep it in the low to mid 60s, humidity is set, dehumidifier in lung room is set to 50, humidifier in the tent is set to 60.5%. 3 clip fans on low, aimed off the bud and placed above and below hanging height, and lastly the 6” inline set to 3.
I’m going to take the 4x4 to 9 weeks, I think I will get some nice yellow fading with the dark green with another week, and probably get those few white pistils to recede and darken.
This is what they looked like right before they died:IMG_4069.jpegIMG_4066.jpegIMG_4067.jpeg
Let us know if the stress test worked out.
sometimes I think about letting it really dry out all the way and dry standing up a little before chop.
it worked well enough that I will be “wilting” the plants on my next run :weed:

well, looks like we are rocking the single net tall SCROG on this one…wasn’t the plan, but I left town during the stretch and when I got back they were tall enough that it would have been tedious bending them down under the net, I didn’t expect them to stretch this tall though, looks like I will have just enough room.
Here they are at the start of week 4IMG_4094.jpegIMG_4095.jpeg

Week 4 complete today. Pulled back on the fulvic to 20ml, done with the aminos, gonna watch closely on the leaf tips and I’m ready to cut the nutes back from 80% to 70% strength. Last thing to note, since I’m drying 9 beautiful plants in a tent in the same relatively large lung room, it’s been a hassle to say the least to keep one tent 59-65 degrees, while having another get into the mid 80s. The real trouble came when I realized my dehu wasn’t pulling nearly what it needed to be in a 65-70 degree lung room. So after 5.5 days of too low temp and too high humidity I realized I needed to make adjustments, because 14 days of this will ruin my end result. So I put up a space heater next to the 4x4 and the dehu in the lung room, gonna hurt when the bill comes in, but the smoke should soothe my sorrows.IMG_4170.jpegIMG_4171.jpeg

Week 5 over and done beginning week 6 cut nutrients down to 70% strength and added back in 5ml of liquid kelp. I think I’m going to leave it like that until week 8.IMG_4232.jpeg

Well the results are in the cure is light but there, and to be honest, this stuff smoked so smooth straight out of the dry room, best fresh smoke I’ve ever grown. Either way the cure helps that flavor really shine through, I am excited to see how it matures! I ended up with 2.68lbs of the best weed I’ve had the privilege of cultivating in my opinion.IMG_4310.jpegIMG_4187.jpegIMG_4199.jpeg

Switched to 85% finishing nutes, and monopotassium phosphate, down from 90, I saw slight browning along the leaf edges, and I know this cut likes the fade, so trying to round off the hard edges on this recipe with this run.

Week 9 is over with. The wilting/drought pressure method I’ve been working on lengthens my (flush period, because for 48 hours of the last 7 days is spent not flushing. Here they are after the first dry back:IMG_4656.jpegIMG_4657.jpeg
They got a little touched by the MKP, next time I will have to go a little lighter.

Harvested at 65 days (check my math lol)IMG_4674.jpegIMG_4673.jpegIMG_4675.jpegIMG_4676.jpeg
Very happy with the increased bud development, not so happy with the burning, so next time I’m going to dial it back 10% more than I do the other nutes and see how that helps.
As far as my final flush routine, I think I’m gonna build on what I’ve got going here and next time go double the usual volume of water for the first day of the flush, then half the usual volume for day 2, day 3 drought for 24 hours, day 4 regular water for 24 hours, day 5 drought for 24 hours and harvest on day 6.

They came out awesome. I have a friend that sent me a cut of his that he said he picked up from Archive Oregon. Our plants look different than yours to me. Check it out. She’s 7 weeks 3 days into flower. Using 650w led. Environment and been kept in pretty good standing as far as vpd goes. I used Dr Earth flower girl only for flower. No I would say they look like the same plant, or one of ours is an S1. To me they look like the same plant expressed in a different setting, My environment is far from perfect (if you all only knew lol), but I think that is a huge ingredient in my success. I am constantly having to come up with unique ways to manipulate my environment, and electricity. Yours looks excellent! I debate on going to soil indoor, but I always worry my yield will suffer, and I can’t afford that right now, unfortunately.

that being said, my clone does not have any provenance, I got it off strainly and my criteria for choosing the seller I chose was, the listing was cheaper than the other Gary Payton listing I liked, and more expensive than the ones I didn’t trust lol.

I need to start letting shit slip once in a while then because I think my plant came out “pretty” which I can care less for honestly. I rather they just produced like robots. :bigjoint: LOL
Awesome plants tho. Things may not have been perfect, but the results are so sweet.

I’m actually running her in another as well. IMG_7524.jpeg

Let me get this straight flowerpower88. You are running Jacks and flushing for 1 week only and get smooth/white smoke??
I use milder watered down nutrients (liquid fertz), never feed over 800ppm and flush for 3 weeks and sometimes it smokes like I didn't flush enough even though I water with lots of runoff everyday for 21 days and my plants are yellow as f*ck.

sometimes overflushing, I have heard, can leave you with dark ash/inconsistent burn.

I really flush closer to 5 days tbh, distilled water, and more focus on drying the plants out than running massive amounts of empty water through the medium. Once the nutrients are gone there is nothing for the plant to take up even if it was trying, so in my mind at this point, after you have flushed the medium of nutrition, any water given is to help the plants retain some turgor. The flushing process at this point, to me, takes place inside of the flowers. The plant, hypothetically, uses any residual excess nutrition within itself, leaving a smooth, salt combustion free smoke.bongsmilie The only use diluted water has is to dilute and remove any residual nutrients in the pot, the plant is not retaining water void of nutrition, it is using it to support itself and then transpiring it off.
