Genetic Trash, or Treasure?

Dinafem White Widow seedling, roughly 1.5 weeks old

The new growth is growing sideways, and the node before it has 3 leaves, while the one prior to that only has 1

The leaves also look a bit odd to me... serrations are a bit rounded, as are the leaves themselves (even for Indica heavy genetics). Also, 3 different leaf sets all only have 3 blades, where normally you'd see 2 additional blades per node, up to 7-9+

I've had a buddy tell me to just toss her and pop a new seed.. but was wondering if anyone else has grown out a "special" plant and ended up with some kind of "best plant I've ever grown in my life" or thereabouts. Im kind of hoping for an underdog story here.. but hoping a dose of reality from the forums will guide me in the right direction about if she's trash or treasure :weed:

Plant is fine. My White Widow (along with several other indica-dominant strains) will have several three-bladed leaves, especially at that young age. I often refer to them as my "strawberry plants", due to strawberry plants having very similar three-bladed leaves (no, yours is not a strawberry plant).

You could do with more light though, it appears to be stretching. You can also move the light closer for now. What light do you have currently?

You should also share some other info... medium, temperature, humidity, water pH, nutrients you'll be using etc. Helps to get that out of the way early in a thread, in case other questions come up.

My normal setup for anything in my grow area:
Medium: Sunshine Mix #4
Water: Distilled
Temp: ambient home temps (68-75)
Humidity: 45-55%

The seedlings go in a cheaply made seedling chamber.. cardboard box with a clip on light mounted into the top of it, running regular household LED bulb.

I use it for the first week or 2 while my flowering plant finishes up and drys in the tent. Gives me a head start so I can get the seedling stage out of the way just as I'm ready to throw her into the tent (small tent/grow area, 1 plant at a time: CURRENT GROW).

As far as stretch, I cant move the light in the box, so I plan on just burying the stretched portion of the lower stem when I repot. Bury her up to the first set of real leaves after the cotyledon. And I'll be attempting to mainline her, so majority of the top growth will end up getting cut back down when I top her... SHOULD be fine.

Was less of a "what's wrong with my plant", and more of a "do odd growth patterns indicate shitty genetics and later issues through my grow"...

I just dont want to waste my time, if her odd growth patterns are an indication of shot genetics in this seed, as has been suggested to me, ya know?.. especially when I'm only able to run 1 plant at a time. But if funky leaf sets/shape arent going to effect the overall end result, I'll just grow her out and see what happens.
