Getaway,

I just realized I've been posting all this stuff on your thread. I thought this was going on the thread I started about small pots until I just spotted its on your thread. Sorry about that.
i doesn't matter to me,carry on lol.. if i was worried about the color of the grow bags i'm not in the right spot as far as i'm concerned hahaha black ones work fine for me and besides what ya going to do about that big bush sticking up and the bag is hidden by then anyway ?? the bag becomes a small issue when the plant is way bigger i put anywhere from 20 - 50 plants in several spots and really spread them out in bunches of 5 here and there deep in the swamps and bogs that go for miles. at least 1/2 mile from anything straight out in a swamp ya don't have to worry about people as much as bullwinkle lol... always just thru the bush never take trails for wheelers and snow sleds anywhere i go ..010.jpg023.jpg026.jpg

Do you remember what strains are in these pictures. I've never grown a plant that i didn't top to created the multiple colas. But seeing the way these plants have strong side branching, it might be best just to leave them alone and let nature take its course. I'm used to playing with northern lights and similar strains that do great with topping. I'd love to conduct one of my experiments to see what the results are of topping one my way verses letting it become a Xmas tree shaped plant. In a guerrilla grow situation the Xmas tree shape would be way more forgiving in bad weather as in thunderstorms.

I don't know if I'm capable of leaving a plant alone and not topping it. I've never been able to resist doing it in the last 25 years. All my comparisons were done by using my buddies plants as a comparison, and only then because they wouldn't try my way. With the Northern Lights, I'd get 3 to 4 times as much bud as those who refused to let me top their plants for them but some strains don't respond well to topping, at least that's what I've read. I have no 1st hand experience to rely on.

Question is "Can this Old Dog unlearn one of his tricks"...LOL

Getaway,

What do you use for soil and how do you get it to your locations that are out in the middle of nowhere? If its bagged soil and you use 10 gallon bags you must have to spend days lugging it in, am I right? Hows your back? Don't tell me you have Momma do that... LOL

Momma sounds awesome, you found a great partner that you can trust! Sounds like you spend about a grand on soil each year give or take. Well worth it in the end but a bitch the first time around. My old lady is like a mushroom, she needs to be kept in the dark and fed bullshit...LOL

I can't start my plants until the weather will allow them to go outside for the most part. I'm trying to figure out a way to start some in April indoors but so far it doesn't seem like it will be an option.

How do you make out for average yield per plant on the late starters, the June, July ones?
