Girl or boy?

That's why I would never be very confident in preflower. In flower, you just wait until there's more than one "nut" at the same node and you know it's a male. I've got non-feminized seedlings coming up so I'm going to try to watch for pre-flowers and then confirm in actual flower.
 
I'm sure this is not the rule but, if a plant does not show nuts in two weeks it is always a female regardless if there are no pistals showing! I say this from the experiences that I have had with my plants! Like I said in the beginning, I'm sure it's not the rule so don't be mean to me:):):)
