Hey everyone here is some pictures of one of my girls (i have 2) She is just entering week 7 and the seed co. said 8-9 weeks for flower. Does she look on track for that amount of time?? She's done budding just in the thickening up process the top is REAL nice. Do I start a flush next week? She's an impressive specimen!
Remember that seed banks often exaggerate the speed in which strains can complete flowering.

The fact that there is no yellowing of the leaves (at all) makes me think she may need a little longer than 2 more weeks.

Do you have an eye glass - Jewellers loupe magnifier???
They're pretty good for seeing how clear/cloudy the trich are
and that is the way that many top growers asses when their plants are at the PRIME for harvest.

Good luck
she's a beauty!

Look into trichomes man. Its grower preference really. I like to harvest a little early compared to others because I like a more clear headed functional high. You get that from harvesting when your trichomes are mostly milky. Some clear, very little amber. Now for me, this is usually around when seedbanks claim there strains are done...coincidence??? I dont think so.

I smoke a lot, so that means being high a lot. I got shit to do so I cant be all stupid stoned
Now if you want a couchlock, cant remeber why your holding something so you forget that your holding it. Go for more amber colored trichomes.

Post some up close of the top nugs/cola if you can.

Don't listen to people who say you have more weeks just because of no yellowing, that is completely hersay.
A lot of people keep their entire plant healthy green the entire grow even when they harvest.

Go by trichomes color and how much density you want to gain in return for less potency.
There becomes times where your plant internally is completely ready, and to a point where the THC starts to degrade rapidly, yet you might have a good 2-3 weeks of swelling left, but that 2-3 weeks can cost you the high you want.
For example week 7 your buds are just starting to swell but you want a head high and your trichomes are already 10% amber. If you leave it another 2 weeks to gain more weight you're risking losing the head high you wanted.

Good job, next time top those bitches and you'll have several big colas like that.

And yeah, look at the trichomes. In my organic grows most strains keep mostly green leaves all the way to harvest. And sometimes the pistils will turn brown early, sometimes they'll all be white when the high is where you want it. It's all personal preference. I prefer the head high but have grown mostly indicas and I always wind up with more ambers than I prefer.

In time you'll find the sweet spot, in terms of when is best for you.
