Not tricky it's actually very nice of them to allow you to build what you want cheaply. The starter kit combo for 119.95 is a great deal, you get the ballast the reflector and a HPS bulb. The 164.00 version one contains MH and HPS. Try and find it cheaper if you can but I doubt you will.

look at the reflectors on that site though they have some for 40 but some are like 175 bucks man. thats crazy. reflector more than ballast?
